Bridalplasty - It's Always Playing, Somewhere, in the World! lol!
Tuesday, November 30th, 2010... OMG, have you seen that new show, Bridalplasty?? hahaha! How craaazy is that??
These poor girls, all fighting for a chance to get all sorts of plastic surgery done to them, mostly so they can get a free wedding?? When did a big fancy wedding become more important than a healthy marriage?? Creeepy! And soo many of the girls looked so 'normal', so regular and pretty.... and the girl who was booted out, tonight, the one who claimed she had 'pawned' her 'engagement ring' from the stranger/guy off the street she said was her 'fiance'... pleeease... she said she wanted (needed?? couldn't be!) breast enlargement... OMG, she was already huuuge. We thought she was gonna ask for a down-sizing intervention, so something tells me perhaps she has a job that might make her feel the need for something bigger... but clearly not a job where she can earn enough to make a monthly payment on her car loan (what she said she used the pawn money for... really, if you're gonna lie on TV, for a show made for women, at least come up with a plausible lie we'll buy without scrutinizing it...)
I love that little Janessa -- you can always remember the crazy one's name, right? haha! The crazier they are, the easier they are to remember.... when she was saying she was definitely, fer sures, da smartiest one there, then couldn't quite manage a TWELVE piece puzzle of herself... well, that was too funny! These stupi girls!! I look forward to watching them every week!
But I did really like the part where they brought out the fellow from the U.S. Military Service... man, that was very touching,and it would be so nice if they won the free wedding... but sad to see how young he was, that he had already put in so much time overseas... which reminds me of an ad I heard on the radio on Veteran's Day. I want to confirm this info, but I'll put it out there, right now, and check it, tomorrow, just to make sure I'm right... I think you can text 20222 to donate $10 towards a Veteran's group. It was a really fast advertisement on the radio, and I had written the number down quickly, but I think it's right... remember the relief efforts made by texting donations for Haiti? I donated online for Katrina, and I can't quite remember when they did the first donation via text messaging, but I looove the idea -- very practical, and you get a whole lot more money when you ask people to give a little that everyone can afford, rather than asking for a whole lot that only a few can afford, right?
Okay, back to #Bridalplasty!! I loooved the syringe run... if you watched The Soup with Joel McHale (always hilarious!!), you'll have the image of the girl running at Joel McHale with her syringe, getting him in the eye... soo funny! But what is going on with these girls that they all feel they need sooo much plastic surgery? And did you know that one of the girls was on The Biggeset Loser?? haha! Yes, how many times did she mention that, and what about her very real waterworks when she was pleading for the Big Free Wedding? haha! Oooh, we're in for some crazy fun wit' dese biiitches!! hahaha!
I wrote a wee bit o' Wedding Advice back in the day, when I was still married... I've been married twice, and here's the thing about feeling like you need plastic surgery before you get married... or, much, much worse, if HE is telling you that you need plastic surgery to be 'good enough' for him.... have a good long look at what he needs to have surgically altered (his brain, maybe? Something South of the Border? No doubt... yuff, yuff!) You don't want to be with someone who is critical of you on that level, or any level... puh-leease. Those jerks. I'd like to do a little plastic surgery of my own on that kind of man... and there are a lot of them out there, unfortunately... and not a' one of them is a perfect specimen! lol! If the plastic surgery is entirely your choice, and it'll make you feel great about yourself, okay, but, man, to do it to please someone else... ugh. That's problematic, fer sures! You want to just love yourself for who you are, be the best you can be... oh, and don't forget to look away from da TV screen when Bridal Plasty first comes on, and they show all the gruesome liposuction procedures -- yuck!!
