The Easiest Grilled Cheese, Evah'! #Yum! #GrilledCheese Oh, Cheeses! lol! Yum!

Grilled Cheese with Tomato Slices - Yum!!

Omg, how much do you love a great Grilled Cheese Sandwich??  We love Grilled Cheese, but sometimes it seems like it's a lot of work to get everything out, like the grill (skillet), or frying pan... we always use the large grill - ooh, that's on sale at Walmart, in Canada, this week, in the Back to School section - but you can get the big grills for around $20, now - yahoo!  They used to be really expensive,

So here's the little trick to make your Grilled Cheese really fast - and perfect, every time...

Is the key a lot o' Butter AND Margarine?? And Cheese? lol!

Back to Campus Deals at Walmart.ca

Heat up your grill on Number 5 - the highest setting.

Take a little packet of Margarine, put it in a little bowl, microwave for 30 seconds.

See that little brush?  You can pick up a little cooking brush, pastry brush, at the Dollar Store - very useful!

We always keep our butter in the cupboard, so it's already soft enough to spread, easily, but if your butter has been in the fridge, maybe just melt that, too? (Butter the insides of the bread, margarine on the outside : )

I found these cheddar cheese slices at Walmart, the other day - usually, we always get sliced Havarti, but they were all out of Havarti, so we got the sliced Cheddar Cheese - here's the thing - we're very bad for buying giant blocks of Cheddar Cheese, have a little, forget all about it, the cheese grows some legs, packs it's own bags, and moves out, before we remember it was even in the fridge... haha!

So, we waste a lot of cheese.. but with the cheddar Cheese in the slices, we're actually thinking of things to do with it - lol!

Okay, so now you've got the margarine melted in a bowl, your pastry brush, you're all ready to go, and the grill is nice and hot...

So put all the bread in pairs on the plate, butter the inside of each piece of bread, put a slice of cheese in, brush the margarine on the outside of the bread - just like a Short-Order Cook - lol!

Is so much fun, super-fast, will cook very quickly - yum!

Do one side, first, put it on the grill (or skillet), and while it's cooking on the one side, quickly brush the melted margarine on the Grilled Cheese on the other side, as the first side is cooking - it'll be easy, no worries : )

Oh, and here's how the margarine ended up being melted in the microwave - it was taking waaay too long to spread the margarine on the outside of the Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, because we had only taken the margarine out the fridge a few minutes in advance of making our deeelish grilled cheese, right, so was too hard to spread, so I said to my son, oh, hey, you know what?  I used to work in a restaurant, and the Short Order Cook (I was a short order cook, too, but this was a different restaurant...) used to brush the butter or margarine on to everything - had forgotten all about that, but it all came flooding back to me, tonight - lol!

Anyhoooo, is worth a try, right?  And, omg, were they ever delicious - you forget how delicious something so simple is... yum!

I had my Grilled Cheese with slices of fresh Tomato - soo good!

And the other night, while I was watching Big Brother After Dark - #BB17 - and they're always eating something that looks delicious to me... anyway, then I wanted to have a little something, too, and had forgotten that I bought some tomatoes, the other, day, too... so I ended up having tomato wedges with a couple of slices of the pre-sliced Cheddar Cheese - it was a really nice, light, and refreshing schnack - yum!  Sorta like a pizza, at a streeeetch! hahahaha!  But was really good - something else to try, if you're also watching something, and they're having something delicious, and now you want to have something delicious, too - lol!

Happy Eating!  Go pick up a Pastry Brush : ) Ailsa : )

(You can use a Pastry Brush for when you have Puff Pastry, too - yum!) (I'll go get the link for you to the Puff Pastry : )
