Oh my Goodness, I love how much I loved this book, You Can Heal Your Life, by Louise L.Hay. It is beautiful, it is wonderful, it is brilliant - wait, was I talking about the book, or mah'self?? hahaha! You'll laugh at that li'l joke, right after you read the book! hahaha! But, for real, I feel like my life, and primarily, the way I think about my life, and how I think about myself, and in a huge part, how I think about my past, which lives with me far too much in the present, which greatly affects my future...is still with me? lol! But when you think of all the things that have happened to you in your past, the thing that happens, for most of us, is that the bad stuff comes jumping out...you have to force yourself to remember the good parts...or you remember the good parts, and pretend the horrible parts didn't really happen, or they weren't really all that horrible... for sure it'll be better the next time around - same person, same problems... usually, right? Maybe. Unless they've also read Louise L. Hay's book, You Can Heal Your Body. Man, I just can't say enough wonderful things about this book - it is absolutely a must-read fr all the peoples on earth - and beyond? haha! No, me makes mah'self laugh! I've also been reading the I Am Number Four series - I just finished The Revenge of Seven.... and some o' those peoples, and I use the term 'peoples' very loosely.. although I pictured Tom Cruise as the leader of the Mogadorians... hmmm, the name escapes me, right now - is right on the tip of my tongue, but not at the tip of my fingertips, for typing - bah'hahahaha! Well, who's all giddy and happy, this morning?? It's ME!! Because I stayed up last night, finishing Louise L.Hay's You Can Heal Your Life - oh, man, so eye-opening, so revealing.
Oooh, it's Setrecas Ra, when he transforms himself into a very handsome human man... and Tom Cruise came immediately to mind...and stayed in my mind for the entire book. Tom Cruise would be perfect in this role, as Setrecas Ra - the human one - lol!
Okay, so, here's a weird thing... I can't get rid of this, literally, dark box, around my words, starting with me typing, Setrecas Ra. How weird is that? Do, do, do, do... are you singing in yo' head, right now? I know I am, for sures! lol! But if you are also a big fan of the I Am Number Four Series, by Pitticus Lore, you might like this site, http://iamnumberfourfans.com/pittacus-lore/ .
I've written about the I Am Number Four Series, a lot, I think - will go find it on my blog, give you da links... here we go - I Am Number Four, and The Fall of Five, but I have read them all - soo good... just relax, get yourself a nice cup of tea, or whatever beverage it is you like to relax with while you're reading, and enjoy this little series... and forget any of the new labels that publishers are giving to books, these days, to, what, draw in the younger reader? Whatevs, these books are great for any age...alive and well, and love a great story? Then you're just the right age for any possible book you'd ever like to read - hahaha! That my take on the very annoying new trend to market only to one group of people - yaaaahh! annoyink! lol!
But, anyway, I digress..... you are gonna get soo much out of Louise L.Hay's beautiful and enlightening book, You Can Heal Your Life.... what is crazy to me, is, how did I miss this book? Louise Hay wrote You Can Heal Your Life in 1984, the year I graduated from Queen's University... 1984, for Goodness Sake, and I'm just coming to it, now? OMG, I can't imagine how different my life might have been, if I had had this beautiful information way back then, when I was just starting out.... although, I'd already been through more than my fair share, even at that very young age... I graduated from Queen's University when I was 21 - with 2 degrees... you'd think someone might have been proud of me, right? But, nope. That's not how it worked for me... I just feel like, if I had had this information, all those years ago, I could have saved myself a whole lot of pain over the years - the great thing is, that now I can move forward, at 51 (dat right, me 51!! lol! I know, me no can believes it, neither!! hahaha!)...anyhooo, I can take this new-to-me information, Release the Past (my new favourtie mantra, 'I release my past, I release my past, I release my past'.... you get the idea... and I love the affirmation, 'I approve of myself', although I find I can never remember the 'a' word, so I go through a little list of possible 'a' words...'I a'love myself', no, that's not it...'I allow myself'... noo, but closer...'I applaud myself'... maybe... 'I adore myself?? hahahaha! Yes, but what was it, again? Oh, yeah, 'I approve of myself'. There. And those are all very lovely affirmations to say to yourself, anyway, sooo, if I don't get it right the first time, I'm still giving myself all these lovely and positive thoughts, and they're all good for my system, right? lol!
Oh, man, I was so saddened and moved by Louise Hay's own personal story - it's at the back of the book, but read the whole thing, first, and then you will be amazed by what Louise overcame in her life, and you will feel even more strongly that you can overcome whatever it is in your life, no matter how long it has been that you've been carrying around those thoughts and feelings, or physical ailments - see what Louise Hay can do to help you move on to a happier, healthier, more financially successful future - I know you can do it!!
And now I want to read all of Louise L. Hay's books, so I went in to get the links, so it's easy for us all to find them - and wouldn't you know it? They''re a great price - woohoo!! Change your life, for next to nothing?? I love it! And I love me! And I love you!! (See how easy these positive affirmations are? And how effective?? Yippee!! Today I am reading "Life Loves You", by Robert Holden, and I love it so much, is so beautiful : ) I love the whole book, but I keep coming across lines that I am trying to commit to memory, since I want to keep them with me, always... here's one of my favourites:
