Toasted English Muffins and Maple Syrup

Syruptitiously Good! lol!

#Toast #EnglishMuffins #Syrup #EggMcMuffin #Yum!

Great Shopping Deals!
Feel like Browsing, today? A li'l Something for you, or someone you really love? (Is it still you? haha! I hope so! Love Yourself, Baby!) lol! I've got a ton of great deals for my Lovely Readers!
Great Deals on, well, Everything, I think - lol! : )

I know, I know, that looks soo easy - and it is! Yay!!

So here's how this little delicious, and I mean, it's soo good, for a while there, it was all I ever wanted - lol! haha!

But I was gonna make my favorite English Muffins with Egg and Cheese, my own at-home version of my favorite McDonald's McMuffin, right? Anyway, I had run out of what I lovingly call sliced cheese, "Fake Cheese", the slices in the plastic wrappers - individually wrapped slices - now that I think of that, how funny is that? Who came up with that idea? Bob, in the morning meeting at Kraft Headquarters, which I can only imagine is in Nevada, close to Area 51, one assumes... so Bob has been thinking a lot about how sticky the cheese it, and how on earth (haha!) can they get people to buy more cheese slices, if they keep sticking together, and Bob chimes in, Let's wrap each slice, it'll be like every little slice of cheese is a gift to the recipient - the opener of the cheese....

And Bob's your uncle (you never even met him, and here, he's your uncle...), sliced cheese - and it's deeelicious! lol!

Anyway, I digress (which I have NEVER been known to do, this is absolutely, probably, the very first time that's ever happened to me, while I'm writing - or speaking - or thinking ...haha!)

I'll go get the pics for you, in case now you want an Egg McMuffin with Sliced Cheese, too - lol!

Anyway, so with the Toated English Muffin with Syrup, I had run out of my fave sliced peel-n-eat cheese, and I really only like the English Muffins/Egg McMuffin with the fakee cheese - sometimes I will have the more realistic Havarti or regular Cheddar, but for some reason, it's just not as much fun as the deeelish fakee cheese - lol!

Anyway, so then I went to put honey on my already toasted (extra toasted - you have to pop it down at least twice, to make the English Muffin really toasty - you want it super-crisp, is much better, that way, AND, smothered in butter, as the Butter Gods intended...)

So I thought, dammit, I'd Ilready toasted the English Muffin, and now not only did I not have any fake cheese left, for the Egg McMuffin, my honey also seemed a little on the questionable side, but I didn't want to wastte the English Muffin, right? I'm a waste not want not kind of girl....

So I saw the Syrup in the fridge, thought, well, I'll just give it a wee try - and, OMG, heaven.

Delightful. Now I'm trying to wean mah'self off o' da Syruptitiously Good English Muffins with Maple Syrup - haha, I was haivng 4 at a time, consistently, since they had the English Muffins on sale for 3 for $5, soo, of course, I didn't want to waste them, either... and now I've forced myself to cut back to just the one English Muffin, the two halves - lol! Instead of the 4 halves... yum, I would looove to have all 4 pieces, again - maybe if I'm on my way out for a really big walk, or something - lol!

So, just in case the pics didn't come up, for any reason, you just toast your English Muffin - take it apart with your hands, so you keep all the delicious nooks and crannies! lol! Toast your English Muffin really well, then lots of real butter - is better for you than margarine, anyway - save your margarine for baking - yum! And then pour little circles of Syrup on your toasted muffins - yum!

And I like to keep the syrup in the fridge, it's thicker from the fridge. And I had gotten some #EmergencySyrup from the Dollar Store, sort of for a laugh, my son and I were laughing about it (we're Canadian, and don't all Canadians keep a bottle of 'emergency syrup' on hand, at all times? haha! What if you run out of syrup?? No, that's awful... you have to be prepared, with lots of syrup (and maybe some water, too - hahaha!)

Anyway, so I had the emergency Dollar Store Syrup, and, turns out, is my favourite new syrup...is soo good! I think it's called "The $2 Syrup" - hahahaha! But you can use any Maple Syrup you happen to like - I like Aunt Jamima Syrup, too...and Old Tyme Syrup, but the chances are, if you're still reading, you, too, have a favourite syrup - hahahah! And so, you will go a'crazy when you try this new-to-me, and possibly new-to-you tasty breakfast treat - oh, and I have it for lunch and dinner, too - whenever I feel like it, which is pretty often - hahaha!

Yum! My favorite at-home version of McDonald's Egg McMuffin - so good!

THE Easiest Scrambled Eggs, Evah'! #Eggs #ScrambledEggs #HowToMakeEggs

THE Easiest Scrambled Eggs, Ever! Yum!

Always have a good Eggs-it strategy, right? bah'hahaha! #ExitStrategy ; )

If you are ever in the mood for some yummy Scrambled eggs, and you want something super-easy to make, try making your Scrambled Eggs in the microwave - soo easy - just one minute in the microwave per egg, soo, any amount of eggs, a little bit of milk, Voila, Scrambled Eggs! Yum! I love Scrambled Eggs with Toast and Salsa - so delicious, and super healthy, too : )

Well, this just made me laugh - the egg yolks just did this on their own - sending me a message? hahaha!

Oh, so here's something cool - I was already planning to make a delicious Cool 'n Creamy Peach Pie, today, right, and my Peach Pie has an amazing 'filling', if you will, with 2 egg yolks, brown sugar, sour cream, and vanilla... omg, is soo good, is crazy... anyway, I thought, well, I could literally just pick up two of the egg yolks, set them aside for the Peach Pie that I'm just about to make, in a few minutes...

Just pick up the yolks with your super-clean hands, put them in their own little dish... see the cans of peaches, off to the side of the Salsa and the toaster? lol!
Add some milk, give your eggs a good whisking...

Cover and pop in the microwave for the same number of minutes as you have eggs in the bowl...
1 minute per egg.

That's a pretty bathing suit! Me loves to swim! : )
Your eggs will come out of the microwave like a souffle, so, technically, you could just serve it like that, but if you still want to go with the Scrambled Eggs, just cut with two knives - super easy : )

See how easy?  Super yummy and healthy, too : )  You're Welcome! hahaha!

Happy Eating!  Ailsa : )

How to Make Peeling the Shells off of Eggs Super-Easy #Eggs #BoiledEggs #EasterEggs - How To Boil Easter Eggs : )

$25 FTD Flower, Plants, & Gifts eGift Code + $25 Restaurant.com eGift card. Save $30 with Specials by Restaurant.com  Flowers AND Dinner Out??  Yahoo!  The perfect combo!

How to Make Peeling the Shells off of Eggs Super-Easy.....Add Baking Soda to Your Boiling Water - is sooo cool!

Add 1 heaping Tablespoon of Baking soda to your big pot of Boiling water, let it foam, then gently place the eggs in, one at a time, with a large metal spoon. ( A soup spoon, nothing fancy - lol!)

AND, give your Boiled Egg a good shake in a glass or jar of water (cover the top - lol!), the peels should come right off, and start from the bottom (now we're here - Thanks, Drake! Haha!) of the egg, where the little dint in the egg is... the egg shell will peel off - and, of course, tap the boiled egg all around, too!

How To Tell If It's A Good Egg, or if your eggs have gone bad - When you place the eggs, one by one, on a big spoon, into the boiling water, if the egg floats to the top - Bad Egg - if it just stays in the bottom, that's a Good Egg!

(Take a little Fun Break with Ailsa! : )

Why not try a little something to make it sooo much easier to peel your boiled eggs?  and it is super-exciting when you first add the baking soda - it'll foam right up, momentarily, then literally, simmer down (do you hate that phrase from all the teachers having said that in your classes, all your life?? lol!) to a normal boil.....

Then, carefully set each egg in the boiling water, with a large spoon...

I thought it might be helpful to see the Boiled Eggs at various stages... we're at Sea Level (we are, for sure, right by the Sea, on the ocean, and, well, errrr, aaahhh, at Sea Level, but we used to live in Calgary, so the timing is different at different elevations - so is a good idea to take your eggs out earlier, if your eggs cook faster at a different elevation... same thing goes for baking, and whatnot... lol!)

Anyhoooo, the Boiled Eggs at the top are 7 minute Eggs, then 8 minutes Eggs, then the 10 minute Eggs.  So, really, it's however you happen to love your eggs, or whenever you remember you were making some boiled eggs! lol!

Yumm, this makes me hungry!  And Eggs are soo good for you... I know there's a whole debate about whether it's okay to eat the yolks, and it's totally okay, very good for you. And, tastier, for sures.

Adding Baking Soda to the boiling water for your Boiled Eggs, though, is great for Easter, when you might be rolling your Easter Eggs with the family.. sometimes it's soo hard to get the egg shell to break, and it can be frustrating for little ones (and the big ones, too - hahaha! - Not sure how many times we've ended up throwing our Easter Eggs up against a tree, try to get the shell to break - naturally - lol!

Switch to AT&T and get the new Galaxy S6 plus a $100 Bill Credit when you add a new line of service on AT&T Next.

And here's how we like to have our little boiled egg sandwiches - yum!  I like a slice of Havarti on the sandwich, sometimes, too - all very healthy... and sometimes we just like to have the boiled eggs on their own, and I add a wee bit of butter and salt - yum!  A nice little treat : )
