The Last Man On Earth, Seasons 1, 2 and 3! : )
We are so happy to see Jason Sudeikis on the team - yahoo!
Okay, this really made me laugh - and maybe it'll make you laugh, too - lol! So I quickly looked up Last Man on Earth, Jason Sudeikis Red and Blue Mating Outfits, and look what popped up - or, rather, look who popped up! Well, you can't argue with that! Nicki Minaj in a beautiful red dress - if that's not a mating outfit, I don't know what is, right? bah'hahahahaha!
Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say how great The Last Man on Earth was, tonight - so funny, we laughed so hard when Tandy hands Mike and Carol their 'mating outfits' - omg, hilarious! hahaha! Red and blue, head to toe (for the most part) hahaha! Yay, we're back to the Funny! Finally!
And what a great ending! (Me won't say, in case you haven't seen it, yet! : )

Oooh, good New Start on the Last Man on Earth...and another New Man in the Sky... I can only hope they don't bring back the old cast - some were good, most were not, soo, so far, so good...
Well, hmmm... I DID love that Bacon was featured in the last episode of The Last Man on Earth, but it did not go in the direction we thought it was a'gonna go... why didn't they follow the path of the Solar Power Panels?? Wouldn't that be the topic of conversation, WHILE they're enjoying al that bacon? And what's going on with all the vegetation?
I'm done with that stooopid accent thing - drop the idiotic accents, no one likes that - I was soo disappointed when they caught up with the 'old people' - that was their big chance to start over, again, make The Last Man on Earth funny, again - it had such a great start, was hilarious, and even though we were very excited with the arrival of January Jones on the scene, isn't she just too bitchy to be any fun, at all? Why so bitchy?
And how are there no pregnancies, yet? That makes zero sense... bleaaah!! Why aren't they even trying to move forward? The stocks, again? Where did the second set of stocks come from? Whatdahellz, Last Man on Earth?? Why you gotta do all that stooopid gunplay, too? In every episode? what is THAT all about?
Oh, man, is frustrating, because we KNOW how funny Will Forte is, and how funny Kristen Shaw from The Daily Show is... I'll go make sure I have her name right, but, hmmm, they're not using the rest of the characters the way they should... dammit... such a great start to this new season, too, and now... I dunno... well, maybe sales on Bacon will be up, now - and that's a Good Thing - lol! : )
Well that was a really good ending to the first season of The Last Man on Earth - and, yahoo, now they can let go of the terrible casting choices, and get back to the original Phil Miller - although, was very funny, that the last astronaut, not yet back to earth, is yet another Phil Miller - thought they were done with that joke, but somebody must love it... and finally the can move away form Tuscon - I was sure they were a'gonna move Phil Miller a couple of episodes ago, when things started to really go bad for Phil Miller (or, badly, but doesn't have the same gravitas, right? lol!)... Anyway, I'm glad it's just back to Carol and Phil, and now we'll see where they go, if they meet more people, and let's hope they don't go with the phony accents, again - seriously, what was that all about? Not funny, just distracting... soo, if The Last Man on Earth IS picked up for a second season, at least they can start clean, and get back to the funny. I did really like Todd, though.... I'll miss Todd, for sure... but I hope they go to LA! Would be fun - Maybe they'll land on the beach in Malibu - now THAT would be a great new location for The Last Man on Earth! Or for anyone - lol! : )
*****
Wow, so, now we have 5 people left on earth, that they know of, and all but one (Todd - we really like Todd) are al annoying jerks?? As in, I wouldn't be with you if you were the last man on earth, or, I wouldn't be with you if you were the last woman on earth?.... Booo!! What are they thinking? they started with such a great show, was soo funny, and now is like a train wreck, getting worse and worse with every passing episode.. and tonight, when Phil says he's doing a Re-do, I thought, great, here's an opportunity for the show to do a re-do, too, get the focus off of January Jones, who is soo biiitchy, it's hard to watch - she's like the mean girl from high school that no one wants to hear or watch - soo mean. Needlessly mean. Bleah! No.
(Take a little Fun Break with Ailsa! : ) (More fun than the show, for sures - lol!)
We keep waiting for The Last Man On Earth to regain it's footing, get back to the funny, and they totally could have done it with the re-do - just move to another section of the city, start again with the new girls, but the fake accent was too annoying, and also unnecessary... why bother? Why can't she just speak normally? lol! (Not the Australian, the 'country gal' - bleah!) It's not like it added to the story... and the two new female characters could've been good, but, nope, not funny, just annoying... why, Last Man on Earth, why?? You had such a great premise... it couldda been soo funny... so, three more episodes, did it say? Hmmm.. we were so annoyed by the end of it, tonight, weren't really even listening...
I did want to know where those Hot Springs were, though - hahaha! Me love'a da Hot Springs!
Soo, there's a tiny amount of time to really do a re-do, and fix this show... start anew, Phil, start anew!
We'll keep watching The Last Man on Earth, just in case they get it together, maybe go back in and make the changes so it's a watchable show, again... I liked the whole 'back to the bar' thing, with Phil talking to all his baller friends, so-to-speak... haha... you know that makes me laugh! lol!
Otay, now me needs some tea! Maybe you might like a wee treat, too! lol! Ailsa : )
*******
Well, the first shows were soo good, so funny, and then what happened?? Why did they decide to make Phil a jerk, someone you can't stand? There's another word for him, but me tryin' to keep this 'family friendly', 'n all, but, man, Phil has become The Worst Last Man on Earth. And January Jones is crap in that role - not funny, just annoying and beeee-yotchy... We were super-excited to see January Jones, when she first came on - I thought she was gonna be hiii-larious, but, nope.
We do like Todd, he's great - lots of good potential, there, but is hard to watch when none of them have said a word about the entire rest of the planet having just died off - a total non-issue... so, that's stooopid, and super annoying... and why clean the pool - gross, that's so stooopid - just move to another house, another neighbourhood, another place... why aren't they moving to the coast, or anywhere near a source of water?? Bleah, makes no sense, is just flat out mean, now.
We hated the fat-shaming, last week, too - whaaat?? So awful. Not funny. Just mean. And nobody likes the Mean, right?
So, is it too late to turn it around, make it funny, again? Hmmm, we'll watch it, to see if it gets better... but as soon as they double up the episodes, that's never a good sign... so much promise, and now it's just crap. We'll see... they need to funny it up, for sures!
They need to bring back The Millers - so funny, and bring back The Neighbors... crazy-funny...and Dads... all those great shows, super-funny, and all this other crap gets through? How is that happening? I can only hope all our old faves will come back, maybe on Netflix? There has to be a way for the really good shows to be able to get back on the air... worked for Arrested Development - that's one of our all-time favorite shows, for sures - hilarious! Quick and funny - the best! : ) We need more of that : )
***************
(I wrote this after the first show, which we loooved... and, now, not so much....)
The Last Man on Earth - soooo funny - you gotta watch this hilarious new show!
Omg, we just finished watching Will Forte's new show, The Last Man on Earth, and we laughed soo hard, all the way through - every minute, the storyline is movin' right along, fantastic little twists and turns you didn't see coming, the entire thing - hilarious - soo funny! You are gonna laugh out loud when you watch The Last Man on Earth....this is like candy for your eyes and ears, a little something special for yo' brain to take in, and laugh and laugh and laugh....
Watch with your kids, too - they'll laugh really hard, and nothing better to teach your children, than to have them develop a great sense of humour, and you'll have so many great conversations about the show - Kevin - sooo funny! I loved all the names - oh, man, one laugh right after another... this is the best show we've seen in ages (we still miss The Neighbors - also a very funny and clever show...)
Hahaha, his new house - no need to clean up for guests... sure makes you rethink how much you would do, in terms of personal grooming, cleaning the house, drinking - anything at all - if there are absolutely no restrictions... you can have anything you like - any house, any item, anything from the store, any car, anything at all - all yours, free for the taking...
Taking the Van Gogh paintings, The Irises, from the museum - it usually lives at The Getty off the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles - I love that particular painting.. and touched it, accidentally, when I thought we were supposed to, in an Art Course I took at the Getty Museum, years ago - was sort of funny, except I had no idea we weren't supposed to do that, sooo, of course, me feel badly about doing that, now... yikes!
Interesting question, right? Would you follow all your old rules, or how quickly would you make up your own, brand new rules, or would it be a total free-for-all in your own head? Who would know, but is a fantastic jumping off point for discussions - with your friends, with your kids, with your students, should you have some - lol!
One of my favourite, favourite, favourite questions that came up - what if you were the last person on earth, and by some miracle, you discovered someone else, and you couldn't stand them - you just couldn't be bothered with them? hahahaha! Oh, man, that is hiii-larious! What a concept! What if it's that lunatic at work you hate? Or just some yuck you could not stand to look at? hahaha! At whom you would look? hahahah! You'll laugh after you've seen it... lol!
Now, The Last Man on Earth is my favourite new show - sooo funny, so smart, phenomenal acting - I soo want to talk about the show, but is so new, I don't want to do any spoilers, for sures, because the surprise factor is hilarious.... we laughed soo hard, right through the whole thing - Will Forte, you won the best man on earth, for me, tonight! hahaha! See you next week!! Ailsa : )
My favourite books to start with, with Louise Hay - You Can Heal Your Life - brilliant, and it really WILL change your life... and Meditations for Daily Living - think that's the right title - is so lovely, you'll love it - all very heartwarming, very clarifying... and Louise Hay has a tiny little book, I Can Do It - looove it, you'll love it, too... I love all of Louise's books... so lovely and life-changing : ) http://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.ca/2014/11/you-can-heal-your-life-by-louise-l-hay.html
