So, this morning, I woke up and thought, hmm, was it November 26th that the Mayans predicted the end of the world?? lol! So silly, since today is November 27th, and so far, so good ... so, of course, I Googled it, see what the deal is, did I have the date wrong, and what was really written. I see there are a LOT of sites out there, dedicated to the whole Mayan Prophecies. My favorite idea that I came across on my Google search was the notion that the Mayans were most likely talking about a change, a major transformation, in the world. Okay, I can live with that - all very reasonable. I'd like to see a Big Change toward kindness, a more peaceful Earth.
I was pretty surprised to find so many alien stories, but, then, I'm a child of the 70's, and I loved all the UFO stories... I'll try to remember the book I liked the best, back then, and I happen to love the whole Lorien, Pitticus Lore books -- I Am Number Four, The Power of Six, and The Rise of Nine - a lot of fun to read, pretty sure there's no giant from an alien race -- aargh, canny remember his name, but I'll ask my son - he remembers stuff like that! lol!
I'll go get those links for you, so you can check it out, too, make youse plans for December 21st, 2012... I say, maybe a party, or maybe just eat all your favorite foods, perhaps on the 20th, in case the New World Order includes no more butter, or something terrible like that! hahahaha! Nooo, I'm sure it'll be a lovely transition into something Very Good, or perhaps another day like today - we'll see what happens on Dec. 22nd - and then, of course, there's Christmas right after that, so it's all good!! lol!

These sites were interesting enough... is interesting to me that almost every year since I can remember, there's someone with an End of the World Theory... what's that all about?? lol! But these are fun to read, and if you are curiouser and curiouser, like a Bear, read on, my New Age Friend! I'm still gonna wrap all my Christmas Presents, though!! lol!
