#BackToSchool - School Uniforms - A Surprisingly Easy Way to Get the Kids Ready for #School! lol! #Aidan!

Summer Clearance Sales - Yippee - and, don't forget, I get a wee something from each sale, since I am an Affiliate of these stores - So thank you so much! You're so sweet for buying through me! : )

That's my wonderful son, Aidan - lol!  He loooves his school uniform, even though it's from his old school in California - or, that's where it started....

It's nice to send your kids off to school, looking smart and tidy... it's good for them, it's good for learning... and more often than not, it can set the mood for learning, just by maintaining a standard, you know? They're a serious learner, they plan to be successful in Life ...that sort of thing : )

School Uniforms - A Surprisingly Easy Way to Get the Kids Ready for School! lol! #BackToSchool

I think what happens when kids wear School Uniforms early on - they get a feel for just looking neat and clean, all the time, and, frankly, that's good for a 'business appearance', you know? whatever helps your kid to get ahead in life, that's a good way to go....

I didn't grow up with School Uniforms, though, and I really liked that level of freedom, and I leave the house all neat and tidy every day, too, sooo... you know, either way, your child is gonna grow up and be ah'mazing!

Target - Spend $50, save $10 or spend $100, save $25 on Home items with promo code COLLEGE, valid 8/9 - 8/15

I was dead-set against the School Uniform, at first, because I felt like it would take away the individuality of the students, but it didn't, it provided a quick, nice, and easy way to get the kids ready for school, every morning.

We had all been invited to a 'Fashion Show' for the kids, when Aidan was in Grade 5, in Los Angeles, and we were horrified at the mere idea of switching over to School Uniforms, but then when I was talking to my fantastic Assistants, my wonderful para-professionals in my Special Education classroom, they were telling me that their kids had been at schools where they had School Uniforms, and their lives were soo much better, much easier to get the kids ready for school in the morning, and it took away that whole, 'what should I wear' thing - that's huuuge.  Much bigger in some families than other, but when the decision is 'white shirt or blue shirt', very easy.

Plus, and this is very important, the clothes the school had chosen for the School Uniforms, were really comfortable and affordable, the kids liked them, and the parents liked them.

And no more issues between the kids and comments on what someone else was or wasn't wearing - a big problem in a lot of schools. Eliminating this issue or who has which sneakers, or brand name shirts or pants - that can make school a much better experience for so many students.

So I used to just have piles of pants and piles of shirts, all ready for Aidan when he got up, so getting dressed was super-easy - always easy, and we didn't have any issues, before, but it was much easier to transition to the School Uniforms than I thought it would be, and now Aidan just likes how it looks, and he always looks neat and tidy, well put-together, you know?

AND, you can hand down your child's School Uniforms to the next kids coming along - either at school,, or with your friends, or their own siblings... is easy, the kids look neat and tidy, and it can solve some serious problems at school. It's win-win-win!

Oh, and that's Aidan at Butchart Gardens - those are blossoms hanging upside down on that tree - how cool is that?  Plus, very sweet that Aidan is still cool with going with me to the Gardens - lol!

About Reading Eggs: The Reading Eggs program has been developed by a highly experienced team of teachers, educational writers, animators and web developers. Reading Eggs focuses on a core reading curriculum of skills and strategies essential for sustained reading success and is suitable for children aged 3 through 13. (I would see if it is useful in my Special Education Classroom, too, as long as it is age-appropriate, as the child/student, gets older... age-appropriateness is essential to learning any new skill or idea : ) Since launching in the United States and Canada in 2010, Reading Eggs has signed on more than 3.4 million users. That's a lot of New Readers - lol!
