Clean Up with Store Savings, too! lol!

Hello, Spring Clearance Deals!

All SORTS of Great Deals! A Li'l Something for You, and Great Gifts, too! lol! #Clearance

#Clean Your Bath Tub, Floors, Carpets, Ledges, Windows (why not, right?) With Your Broom! #BroomBroom - lol!

#SpringCleaning! : )

#SoEasy! #NoBending #EasyScrubbing! #SoExcited!

Ooh, I just tried washing the Balcony Windows with the Broom, a Squeegee and a Sponge - sooo fast and easy!

I wish I'd thought of this, years ago - but, better now than never, right? Use your soft-bristled broom to clean your windows! Especially the bigger windows, like your Sliding Doors, and whatnot : )

Also, aren't those Primulas pretty? They're a great price, in the Spring, and give you a fantastic pop of color, very quickly!

Broomie says, "Oh, hey, there you are... let's clean some windows!"
(Broom, personified... lol!)

You know when you're almost done with your Dish Washing Liquid, (which we call, Squeezy - lol!) just add a bunch of hot water to that, give it a little shake, 'spray onto the widow, use your soft bristled broom to give your window a good clean, then squeegee it off - or, just use a cloth, or newspaper, if you still have any newspaper - maybe a flyer that's come in the mail? lol! Or a nice soft cloth - one way or another, your windows are gonna sparkle, and very little work for you! Yahoo!! Another thing done! : )

I just sort of 'spray' on the water/squeezie/dish soap right from the Sunlight Bottle - I use the same thing for the kitchen floor, too - is very practical, and uses up the rest of the squeezie, too - Waste Not Want Not, right? lol!

And then give the whole window a good scrub - you can rinse out your broom when you're all done, will be fine : )

And I didn't even rinse the window, I just squeegied the soapy mixture right off, but you could do two steps, if you feel like it - it's entirely up to you! : )

Omg, what size is my arm, now? I'm at the gym all the time, surely I haven't made my arm bigger, have I?? hahaha! Hope not! That's not the purpose of going to the gym - I want my old slim arms back - lol! But, anyway, is fun to do the squeegie, and you can pick them up at the Dollar Store, no doubt! ; )

It's hard to reach the corner, with all my wee plants on the balcony... streeetch! lol!

And there we go - all done! In minutes, at most... so easy, give it a wee try! : )

Sparkling! And super easy, too!

No more bending - it's hard to bend down to scrub the shower or the bath tub, whatever you want to call it - lol! What a great solution to that problem!

Okay, well I'm super-excited about this - I juuust figured this out, this morning - I was trying to remove some Comet from a corner of the bathroom, where I had put it down in an effort to get rid of 'something else' - yick! Anyway, I had also poured a little of the clear Toilet Cleaner on the Comet, and that had dried, seemed like it would be hard to remove, so I poured a little water on it, to soften it, then the broom happened to be handy, so I thought, well, I'll just see if I can loosen it a bit with my broom - and the next thing you know, it's all frothy and VERY clean, sooo, that's how I figured this out...

So, here's the trick, Use Your Broom to Clean Your Shower, Bath Tub, Floors, the Carpets, if you have a heavily used area, and your carpet is not too delicate, or a bright color... Anywhere that might be hard to reach - along ledges - you know that ledge on the way out to the Balcony or Patio, if you have Sliding Doors in your home : )

And then I tried using the Broom, wet, with a little Comet on it, but you can use whatever cleaning supplies you like - I am very partial to Bleach and Liquid Soap (we call it Squeezie! lol!), Sunlight, and hot water, to clean almost anything - is amazing... carpets, furniture, your kitchen sponges or clothes... but today I was working with Comet, sprinkled on, get the broom wet, scrub away with the broom, no bending, is THE best - and soo easy and fast! I love it!

What a great little discovery, so I hope this works for you, too!

 I Love Cleaning! lol! : )

Haha! You nkow those FunHouse Mirrors? Well, looks like that's me reflected in the Shower Handle - and if you don't have an ah'mazing Shower Head, I want to make a page to show you how to quickly and easily change out your Shower Head... but, just to say it quickly - you can literally just unscrew the Shower Head from the post that comes out the wall in the Shower, your new Shower Head will just screw right back on there - I replace the Shower Head, immediately, in every new place we're in - a Great Shower is THE best thing - it's wonderful, and I love a Hand Held Shower Head - very practical - and now for cleaning, too! lol! Not just you, the bathtub, too! haha!

See? All Sparkly and Gleaming, like a Shower should be, right? YAY! And so easy!

And I loove my very pretty Shower Curtain - I'll link you to my Decorating Page, then you can get a great new Shower Curtain, too, if you want to trade yours out, get a brand new look for your Bathroom!

And you can even get a Curtain Rod that has a spring suction on it, so, free-standing curtain rod, you just literally screw it in place, like, you kind of roll the curtain rod until the the curtain rod tightens to the wall - is very easy, and if you place that really high, almost at the ceiling, and put on a very fancy curtain (a really long curtain, you can REALLY transform your bathroom : )

Aaand, you can use your broom to clean your kitchen and bathroom floors,

Just get the broom wet, add some soap, or Comet, or anything you like to clean with, is THE easiest and fastest way to clean your floors... wow, I wish I'd thought of this years ago - so easy!

Wow, you might never need a Swiffer (although, who wouldn't want a Swiffer, so much fun! lol!), or a mop, again - this is so much easier! : )

Ooh, and I just got out my very fancy Italian Steam Cleaner, heats the water up to 365 Degrees, or something like that - like the Steam Cleaners you see on TV Infomercials, only mine is crazy expensive, me bought it years ago, is ah'mazing - today I want to see if it'll deep-clean the carpets, make them like new, again - lol!

I have a video that I made in a course I took, in LA, on How To Make Movies, and, at the time, I was completely obsessed with my fancy new Steam Cleaner, so that's how I chose the subject - lol! Not completely sure how to download (or, upload, I guess? haha!) the video of me cleaning away with the Steam Cleaner, but will see if me can figure that out!

Okay, I gotta get to cleanin'! : )

Well, hahaha, was hard to figure out what picture to put in to show how white and fluffy your laundry will be when you use lots of Bleach, but, well, this picture is great for getting you to think of something that is very, very white and fluffy, right? lol!

(Take a little Fun Break with Ailsa! : )  (Where you can really 'clean up'! hahaha!

So, it's Laundry Day, and we were down in the laundry room, pouring the bleach on the whites, and I said to my son, who is 15, gee, you know, Thank God my friend Nancy happened to be doing the laundry on a day I was over visiting with her - and she was using bleach, and you would think I would already have known about bleach, since I already had a baby, my beautiful little Cara - Nancy and I both had babies at the same time, roughly, so it was a lot of fun to get the babies together while we had great conversations, too... that's really great for all young mothers... it's great to have other moms to talk to, for sures!  And it REALLY helps if they're hilarious - makes it all so much better!

55% off Carters little layettes for newborns. Select styles.

Anyway, I asked Nancy what she was doing, since her laundry was always so sparkly and clean, and I am a firm believer in learning whatever you can from anyone who you think is doing it, just right, right? lol!  Well, really, that boils down to being able to say, oh, hey, what's that you're doing, and learning it for yourself, too...

And bleach is amazing for cleaning all your baby clothes and all their little items.. just use a small amount for the baby clothes, since tiny babies are have very sensitive skin... but as they get to be older, like, teenagers, go for it, clean those socks! hahaha!

Great deals under $10!

So, just in case your mom or dad, or any of your friends who are doing their laundry while you're over, and you happen to luck into this info on your own... but if you didn't have that, or don't have that, then here we go, this is all for you, baby! lol!

Never be afraid of using bleach - I use it on all the whites, so separate out your laundry, do all the colors, first, so no bleach gets on any of the color clothes... and then put your whites in the washing machine in layers... put the clothes and laundry that isn't too bad, on the bottom, then carefully lay in the socks and whatever else really needs a good cleaning, and pour the bleach right on the items.  No need to be super careful with this - just pour that bleach on. Then pour on some laundry soap.  We never follow any directions for the amount of laundry soap, either - just pour that shiz on, right? lol!  You want it to be super-clean and sparkly! lol!

Just keep going - sheets, the bed base, like a fitted bed pad - we looove those, so comfy - and pour the bleach right on that, too, then the laundry soap - why, it's like a little Laundry Lasagna - bah'hahahahaah!  The key is to use a lot of bleach and a lot of laundry soap... Oh, and go ahead and cut the liner off your pillows - you can carefully cut along the sewn line of the base pillow case, and wash that, too...

60-70 % off bed pillows, matress padding, sheets, bedding collections & sets, bath towels, bath rugs, curtains & decorative pillows. Select styles.

You will be sooo excited when you see how brilliantly white your socks are!  I'm not sure why that's so exciting, but, well, it is - lol!

Here's a funny little 'laundry' story - making my husband's (at the time - we're divorced, now... and not because o' da socks, neither - lol!) socks soo white was the ONLY thing my mother-in-law, at the time, liked about me - oh, that's lovely, right? hahaha!  Easier to laugh at, looking back, was all too crazy.

And that brings to a good piece of advice for any mothers-in-law, out there... or anyone dealing with other human beings (sooo, that's pretty much everyone! lol!) - don't be so judgmental about who your child is with - if they're happy, you're happy, and that's it.  If parents would stop being soo judgmental about everything their adult children do or do not do, things would be much better for everyone involved.

And if you have a parent who is actively going after your spouse or significant other, the child of the parent has to be the one to go and speak to the annoying parent - you must be the one to support your own significant other, or you run the very serious risk of them not being your significant other, all that much longer - (hmmm, maybe the socks DID have something to do with that divorce... anyhooo, you get my point! lol!)

So, bottom line, don't be afraid to use lots of bleach - let go of the 'half a cup' thing, it won't damage your clothes, it'll just make your laundry all lovely and sparkly and white! Yippee!!

Oh, and you can use a mix of hot water, in your sink, and regular dish soap, you can use that to clean your furniture - do a test on a bit you can't see, first, and not on, like, a purple or red couch, that seems like a very bad idea - hahaha!  But if it's beige, or tan... you be the judge on that one, but you can use a nice clean, white cloth, small towel, or face cloth, dip it in the hot water/bleach/soap mixture - you'll have a half a sink, at least, and you use the cloth to scrub the furniture - Voila!  New again!

I do the furniture every 6 months, or so - keeps everything sparkly and clean - yahoo!

Okay, gotta get back to the laundry! lol!  Happy Cleaning! Ailsa : )

And now to clean up your whole life, my favorite little Louise Hay - she's brilliant!!

My favourite books to start with, with Louise Hay - You Can Heal Your Life - brilliant, and it really WILL change your life... and Meditations for Daily Living - think that's the right title  - is so lovely, you'll love it - all very heartwarming, very clarifying... and Louise Hay has a tiny little book, I Can Do It - looove it, you'll love it, too... I love all of Louise's books... so lovely and life-changing : ) http://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.ca/2014/11/you-can-heal-your-life-by-louise-l-hay.html

Use a Make Up Brush to Dust Between All your Cute Little Things! #MakeUpBrush #Dusting (Yep! lol!) #LipLiner #Lipstick

Use your Make Up Brushes to make it really easy to dust between all your little things! No kidding, it totally works - I just did it!  I have soo many fancy wee things, and I love to have everything out on display, so I can see it, every day - jewelry, pretty things, shells, crystals, rocks, Money Frogs (lol!) - nail polish - you name, it, if I think it's pretty, I'll put it out, and then the shelves get dusty, but what a hassle to have to move everything off your shelf just to dust around them, right?  That seems like a lot of work! haha!  But not now, not with you Make Up Brush Duster! lol!

You can leave everything in place, gently dust all around your fancy, favorite, items - no more hassle, no more dust!  It's a win-win, right?? Hello, cleaner place! You can get into those little nooks 'n cranny on lots of things, too, because the bristles on the make up brushes are strong enough to work hard, but not harm anything - perfect for cleaning up - but no use da same brush fo' you face! hahaha!  These ones I just posted on here are super-cheap (Whaat? My favorite price, super-cheap?? hahaha!), so maybe you might want to get a couple o' packs of make up brushes - one for you, and one for dusting the little things!

Happy Cleaning! Ailsa xox!

Oh, and this pic just happened to come up when I was looking for my pic of make up brushes, and I'm not sure if I've already mentioned this... anyway, you know how you get down to the end of your favorite lip liner, and they've discontinued your color, the best color in the world... anyway, if you want to hang on to your fave lip liner, for at least another month, maybe 3 months - maybe longer, let's say, if you only put your lipstick on, every so often - lol!

No, me joke! But lip liner does seem like it lasts forever, until the little thing fall right out of the tip of the holder... just jam a tiny bit of cotton wool or maybe a bit of a hankie, or tissue paper - anything that's going to give you a little bit of something in the now-empty tube where your lip liner thing used to be, then very carefully put the lip liner back in, wind the base back.. if you're reading this, you'll know what I mean - and these are pricey little things, now, sooo... is worth doctoring them up, until you can find another one you love just as much - or maybe more! lol!

I like the ColorStay - Revlon, maybe? I'd have to go look, and that seems like a whole lotta work, so, you know what you like! And I like the NYC Blush - is the best blush out there, and a great price, too : )
