The Fall of Five, by Pittacus Lore. Wow, what an amazing read!  My tummy is rumbling, I haven't eaten all day - have been so busy reading this incredible book - never, ever, let any kind of age-range idiot thing or title rule what you decide to read - if you haven't started reading the whole Pitticus Lore series of I Am Number Four, and all the rest of the series, man-oh-man, are you in for a serious reading treat! lol!  You will get totally lost in the scenes and the characters - is a fantastic read!!  Okay, I'm off to have some 'well-earned' macaroni and cheese, try to bring myself back down to earth, so-to-speak! lol!  You'll laugh when you've read the books, which I highly recommend. Go get you some Pitticus Lore, read yourself silly!!  With Much Book Love, Ailsa xox!!

I soo want to see some GOOD Movies made of the Pitticus Lore Series - would be amazing, with all the new technology, now, right? The first movie was nooot good... no bueno, some people might say... otay, you got me - it WAS me who said that, but, still.. these books would be incredible to watch on the Big Screen, not just in your mind, any more! Books, not just for your mind - haha! Well, you know that made me laugh! Now me gotta Tweet it! lol! 

Man, I just finished reading I am Number Four, by Pitticus Lore, and I'm telling you, I couldn't put it down... was a great read, for sure.  And here's the hilarious part -- my 12 year old son, Aidan, had already read it (first time that's happened! lol!), so was really funny... all the way through the book, Aidan kept saying to me, "Which part are you at?  Oh, you're coming up to my favorite bit!"  Was really funny to me!

So if you have already read The Hunger Games, and if you haven't, you're in for a crazy treat (!), you're gonna love I Am Number Four.  And since it's my birthday, next week, my lovely daughter, Cara, said she'll get me a copy of the next book in the Sequel, The Power of Six. Ooooooh, I canny wait!! (Also, I'm excited about going out for dinner -- we're going to one of my favorite Greek Restaurants from when I went to University -- hope it's as delicious as I remember it to be -- I love those Chicken Brochettes (!) ... sometimes it's the little things that make you happy! lol!)

I Am Number Four is another book where I don't want to give anything away, so very tricky to chat about, until everyone in the family has read it, or all your friends have read it, then you can chat away 'til your heart's content! lol!  Oh, and Cara told me the movie is really good, too, but definitely read the book, first, then see the movie... guess that's next on my list to do!

Let me just leave you with this -- you'll love the characters, John Smith, Henri, Sam, Sarah, and even Mark, and especially Bernie Kosar.... just a really fun read, and great for any age, girl, boy or alien! lol!  If you've read it, let me know what you thought, how much fun you had reading it (were you carried into another world?? lol!), and if you are about to go buy I Am Number Four, Happy Reading!!  Ailsa xox

Ooooh, I've read all three of the Lorien Books, now, and they are fantastic reads - soo much fun! I'm going to give these books as Christmas Presents, because there's nothing I love more than a great read on Christmas Day - you know, after all the presents are open, you've had a lovely Brunch, it's nice to curl up with a great book, relax and really enjoy your day : )

Oh, my goodness, I looove these books! Age Schmage - that drives me crazy, this new thing of attaching an age to any book - read it if you love it - read it AND you'll love it! lol!



 I just finished The Fate of Ten - omg, I did not want to stop reading - you know how you get a book like that, you just don't want to put it down! What a great feeling, what a great read! You know I can't tell you anything about it, but let me know when you've read any of the Pitticus Lore books... I love to talk about them! lol!

And THEN, if you are like me, and you just can't seem to get enough of John Smith and his, uh, gang, if you will ... Garde is clearly better... I just don't want to give anything away... Self-Discovery is the key, here, right? lol!
