Otay, dis me! Is soo hard to find anything remotely close-up for me, because I'm always in pictures outside, or I want the whole background in the picture - lol! Anyway, I'm 54, now, and so far, so good! So Great, is more like it - lol! That's at Butchart Gardens, in Victoria, BC, Canada - one of my very favourite places to go for a walk...and that's my favourite, favourite black dress.. I have soo many lovely dresses, but really, I just switch between my three favorites, but if I can figure out how to get away with wearing THIS black dress, then me wears it - lol! I had to make mah'self an underskirt (remember underskirts?? haha! Well, if you're looking up, 'How to Get Rid of Wrinkles', then you'll easily remember underskirts and slips... used to be a staple in every woman's closet, and now, not-so-much...). But I had, apparently, worn right through mah' fave dress, so now it requires one more garment... lol! 
The Fountain Of Youth? Maaay-be! lol! Think Young, Be Young, that's the real secret to being ever-youthful! : )
Micellar Water, Micellar Solution - this is my favorite, favorite new thing, these days - Micellar Water is changing our skin, completely - I'm using it, a few times a day (because I REALLY want it to work - haha! And my son, who is 18, is using it, I'm hoping every day - lol - but, Aidan's skin looks great, too, so now I have full confirmation that the Micellar Water or Micellar Solution works on any skin - and ours has no scent, it looks and feels like water, but it is beyond remarkable in what it will do for your skin!

Oh, and wear your hair any way you like it, and I love long blonde hair - I will never, ever, fall prey to those (almost all older women) women (my Mother) who insist on women having short hair after the first baby, or after marriage... or after 30, whichever comes first. Nope. That's crazy. Have short hair if you love having short hair, but don't let anyone force you into it, including your hairdresser... short hair is expensive to maintain, and far more time-consuming than long hair - just wash and go... I put it in a bun a lot, when I'm swimming, or cooking, or super-extra-hot, in general... hahahaha! (All da ladies will know what me talkin' abouts... I've got a little thing called Menopause, to keep me warm, all the time - hahaha!)
And to be clear, I'm not obsessed with youth, or looking any certain way, except for me to look and feel my best - I really like that, and I am forever grateful for my wonderful, beautiful, most loving woman, ever, Janice, my lovely little friend, who called me 'Baby' when I was 27, had just moved to Los Angeles, California, and we were working together, and have been great friends, ever since : ) ... and I had been through a nightmare of a marriage, and was still going through hell with that, for years to come after it, too, and I felt soo old, at 27, so when Janice called me, lovingly, 'Baby', it changed how I thought about my age, and myself, and I never looked back - So, Thanks, Janice, and Thanks, California, for giving me a whole new perspective on my life : ) And I've been Young, ever since! Yippee for Life! lol! : )

Oh, and here's what I'm working on, right now - Can you heal wrinkles? I really think you can, and I'm experimenting on mah' own face, to make sure my theory is correct... so, what if you literally dealt with a wrinkle like you would any other blemish, or something you wanted to correct, to make it look like your regular skin, gain, right? Hmmm... is definitely worth a try,and so far, it does seem to be working.
So, I'm 'treating' the little lines (okay, you got me, it's more like groooves...' hahaha! The grooves, then, from the corner of your lips, down.. laugh lines, I'll call them, because that sounds waaay nicer than wrinkles, lines or heavy grooves... like, you don't want to hear, "Oh, Groovy", and someone's referring to yer face - buh'dum-bum! haha! Me make'a mah'self laugh! haha! So maybe they ARE laughlines, since me laughs all day long, all day, every day - is the best way to live : )
I'm using the vinegar, because now I'm obsessed with what all vinegar will heal - looks like vinegar will heal all sorts of things - hmmm... who knew? Happy that now I know, too - lol! Skin Care Tips : )
And then I'll put whatever cream I have around, on after the vinegar... anything to heal your skin.. try it all,see what works for you, but I think this is something I've never really heard of, of healing a wrinkle, or a groove... when they say, 'Ailsa got her groove back', they' just talking about mah' face - hahaha! (Dammit! lol!)
AND, if you ever have a bother with your ears, like, for a while there, I had this weird thing where it felt like my ear was plugged, and I could hardly hear out of it, and it was very, very disconcerting... so I finally went to the doctor, and she said, Yep, it's plugged. I didn't get a prescription, nothing, so, I had to sort it out, mah'self...
So I ended up heating up Hydrogen Peroxide and a little bit of Olive Oil, and at some point, I added a little bit of Vinegar, too...(20 seconds in the microwave, be careful, just warm it, nothing hot should ever go in your ears) I was feeling frustrated - and I gave a lot of thought to 'What is it that I don't want to hear', since Louise Hay might say something like that, in an effort to heal your own body...(I did not want to hear one more bit of criticism over my hair, height, feet, hair, again - length, color, cut... you name it, there's seems to be a problem with every possible way I look, think, BE, with this one person...)
Anyway, the Hydrogen Peroxide is amazing in your ears, because it has a little bubbling sound, so you know it's working - lol! But you can use a dropper or cut a straw, maybe 4 inches, put your finger over one end, spoon it into the straw, then pour that in your ear - it might feel a little weird, at first, because you've probably never put anything in your ear (hopefully! lol!), but you'll be okay, not to worry, and you're only putting in a little bit, less than a teaspoon, I would think - maybe a half a teaspoon?
So, do it, yourself, or have someone you trust help you out, then go and lay down, on your side, whichever side you're not working on, so-to-speak, and just relax and lay there for about 10 to 20 minutes... and it worked like a charm - took a few tries, and then it was just magically all better (not magically, but is fun to say! lol!)
AND, if you ever get a cold, try putting a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide in each ear, it seems to work it's way into your ear canal, heal your cold...and then go ahead and try my other Cold Remedies (one of them is a whooole lot o' da fun! lol!)

Okay, give that a try, let me know how it turns out for you - and it helps to not smoke, or quit smoking (try Vaping, that seems to work, or the Nicotine Toothpicks... worth a try...), and to be mindful of your face, and try to keep your face relaxed... is surprising how often you have to actively remind yourself to relax your face... try it right now, see if you can feel the difference...and, GO! Feel more relaxed? lol! There you go, now you'll be wrinkle free, forever : ) You're welcome - haha! Ailsa : )

Rubbing Alcohol Gets Rid of SkinTags - yay! Finally, something that actually works : )
Really, I'm just blown away by how incredibly well the Rubbing Alcohol, Isopropyl Alcohol, about $2 at any store, works. It just seems to dissolve the Skin Tags... and any other little bump or what-have-you, that you want to deal with - I would try it if you have any 'Age Spots' - not completely sure what an age spot is, I don't think I have any, yet, but, maybe I'll never have them, now that I've discovered the Magic of Rubbing alcohol, right? haha!
Did I already make my favorite new Rubbing Alcohol joke? Isn't that ALL alcohol? bah'hahaha! I'll be here all week, Folks! lol! : )
So I'm putting the Rubbing Alcohol on a little cotton pad, it's much more controllable on that - I think with a cotton ball, some Rubbing Alcohol might drip down, and you can't take ANY chances with Rubbing Alcohol, or anything, getting into your eyes, or anywhere you don't want it, sooo, the cotton pads, or a folded up Kleenex, Toilet Roll, Paper Hankie (hatever you want to fold up into a little square, so you have total control of the Rubbing alcohol - be super-careful with it, and make sure you're in a well-ventilated room, or move in and out of the room, take some nice big breaths of fresh air... just to be on the safe side : )
So, here's the thing - as you get older, or have a baby, or gain some weight (human things, you know the deal! lol!), but you might notice some little Skin Tags - they seem to come out of nowhere, and then it used to feel like they were never gonna go, but then, last week, I thought, well, what if I put a little Rubbing Alcohol in the Skin Tags? Anyway, and I think this is maybe less than a week after I thought I would try this, it sure seems like they're disappearing - yay! Finally!
Try the Rubbing Alcohol on any little bump, skin tag, whatever it is you want to heal or fix on your skin, go ahead and give it a try, just be super-careful with it, never on any 'broken skin' - yeowch, that would hurt... but worth a try to see if that will help with whatever drives you up the wall on you' skin, baby! lol! : ) Let me know if it works for you, too! You know what? I would try the Rubbing Alcohol on any old scars, too... you know, if you're comfortable treating yourself like your own little Science Experiment - I loove that, I'm an excellent specimen, I'll try anything - well, within reason - lol!

Teeth Whitening with Vinegar? Sure, why not, right? I just thought of it, and, of course, I have a little 'jar' of Vinegar in the bathroom, because I use it on my skin every day, now - is THE most amazing thing, ever - wish I had thought of this, years ago - would've saved me a lot of time, money, and sometimes pain, because, if you've ever had a problem with your skin, you know it really can be very painful, sometimes, and the vinegar goes into your skin, soothes and heals your skin, so quickly, is beyond amazing! And for about, oh, what? 5 cents a 'jar'? I pour some vinegar from the giant container of Vinegar in the kitchen, into an empty Vitamin e cream that I really like - is not really a 'cream', per se, I use it as a lip balm - has no scent, is fabulous, I've been using it for years : ) I'll see if I can find a link for you..
My favourite Vitamin e Lip Balm - well, I use it as a Lip Balm - apparently, it can be used for all sorts of things, but I have it in little containers in my car, in my purse - all over the house - lol! I love it! Anyway, it's First Aid webber Vitamin Ointment 1.76 oz/30g - I couldn't find a direct link, but you should be able to copy and paste your way to finding it : ) I don't think I could get it, in america, my sister used to send it down to me, or I would pick up 4 little jars of it, whenever I was visiting Canada, but now we're back up here ... waaay up! lol! And it's a lower case 'w' for webber, just in case that makes any difference... no scent, no weird after-taste, just perfect balm for you' lips, to keep them soft and nice! : )
Anyway, if you want to try the Vinegar Treatment to Whiten Your Teeth, use a Q-Tip to apply the vinegar, and just do the front of your teeth - dip the Q-Tip into the vinegar, gently apply to each tooth - I wouldn't swallow it, is better to spit it out (sorry to be so graphic - lol!), and I did that a bunch of times, then just leave that on your teeth, go give the a wee brush, in a bit...
(Really, usually I just pour some Hydrogen Peroxide into the lid of the bottle, dip my toothbrush in that, then immediately into the Baking Soda, give your teeth a good brush - it fast and easy, and I keep all that stuff on my bathroom counter, since I use it all, all the time - like, many, many times a day - lol - not the teeth whitening part, but all the rest of it - super-clean! lol!)
