The God Diet - If God Made It, You Can Eat It! lol! : ) THE Friendliest, Happiest Diet, Evah'! #TheGodDiet #PotatoChips!

The God Diet

If God Made It, You Can Eat It! lol! : ) THE Friendliest, Happiest Diet, Evah'!

Clearance Items: Up to 50% off Select Ghirardelli Chocolates. Thanks, God, for the delicious Chocolate! lol! Yum!

Okay, so I've thought of this for years and years, but sometimes I'm really struck by how incredible our Universe is, how amazingly intricate and phenomenal our world is, the sheer beauty and symmetry of nature....

Take these apples (please! haha! Jus' reminds me of that old 'Take my wife....please! lol!)

Anyway, when I slice the apples in half - or, in thirds, today, even easier! lol! But when I slice an apple in half, I am blown away by the design - a Grand Design,if you will... it's gorgeous, and I am soo blown away by seeds, and seed dispersal... (make me think of a man who really gets around - bah'hahahaha! Or seeds on a tree - whatevs... we're all just seeds, sprouted out! I looove that!

You, Me and an Apple Seed!

You, Me, and an Apple Tree!

We All Come From a Seed - You, Me, an Apple and a Tree!

Anyway, I've been singing that all morning - lol! Life in my head - haha!

I just took the Apple Crumble out the oven - smells amazing in here - yum! If I could just get everyone to give this little Apple Crumble a try, think how much happier and healthier our whole world would be!

So here's what makes me call it The God Diet - I really believe that if it grows naturally, it's good for you. It was designed for you to eat - and be healthy, soooo, why not work with what comes naturally, whenever and wherever you can, right?

Oatmeal is one of my favorite things - add it where you can, see if that will make you feel good - if you have any reaction, skip that, try something else, but generally speaking, Oatmeal and Grains are very good for you - there are really only a handful of people who can't manage grains, that seems like more of a media thing, right now - but if it works for you, Oatmeal is very Heart Healthy, great for 'cleaning out your system' - err... you know what I mean! lol! But Oatmeal will act like a little broom, sweeping out your system, cleaning it all up - is amazing! Thanks, God! I love it!

Yum, Thanks, God, for all the great veggies! This is my favorite #MacaroniSalad

You get soo excited, when you get a bite with a little macaroni, and a whole lot o' da Veggies!

Well,  have a ton o' delicious and easy to make recipes on my blog - and on my site, but I can't seem to access my website - so frustrating - it's live and online, over 1.7 million visits, but there's something that is blocking me from getting onto my site from this computer, for me to work on it, so, my blog is my focus, right now.... sooo.... hm, have to figure that out, fo' sho'!

Anyhoooo, you can scroll through all the pics on my Blog, find whatever delicious recipe you're looking for... you'll love them all, I love anything that's delicious and pretty easy and fast to make, AND, super-healthy! : )

Bottom line, try to minimize artificial ingredients, where you can (not to be nutty about it, some artificial ingredients are deeelicious! haha!), and try to add lots of yummy fruits and veggies, wherever you can - Yum! Thanks, God! Good Job!! : )

Yum, look what I just thought of having - was soo good!

Cucumbers and Taco Meat - Simple and Delicious!

So here's how I happened to think of this new flavor combo - years ago, at a Queen's Alumni Party in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, they had these most delicious little hors d'oeuvres (hor-derves, if you will - I have another li'l joke, but it just goes downhill fro here, sooo.... hopefully, you're already making that joke, in yer own head - haha!) (Did you know the literal French meaning of hors d'oeuvres is 'outside the work' - or, and this is all me, now - not the main course - or maybe it is?? haha! Whatevs, just say, Something Delicious, a lovely little bite of something good!

Anyway, they had a slice of Cucumber, a few drops of Hot Sauce, and a lovely fresh Shrimp - yum!

Taco Meat - yum!
It was soo good, so, tonight I happened to think of a new way I can freeze the extra Taco Meat, that I make all at once, I get the giant package of Ground Meat (mince, if you're British - lol!), cook it all in the big pot, with a ton of Taco Seasoning - 8 tablespoons, maybe? I dunno, I pour it in... spicy is yummy! lol!

So I was standing in the kitchen, my son had already added some Taco Meat to the left over Lasagna - which was delicious - I did that, last night - yum!

Yum! Taco Spaghetti! Try it, you'll love it!
So my son had already eaten, and normally I would just make a batch of Taco Spaghetti, or regular Tacos, but we were all out of cheddar cheese, lettuce, salsa, tomatoes (I'm still waiting for them to grow, sooo, they'll be ready in just a few short months, and I'll have to eat something else between now and then - haha!)

Anyway, I'm standing in the kitchen, trying to think of something to have with the Taco Meat, and thought of this - and it was sooo good - yum! Light, delicious, did I already say light? haha! So good!

I just heated up the Taco Meat, put that in the center of the plate, then sliced the cucumber to put around the meat - all very lovely, then used the cucumber slices like little nacho chips - which would also have been delicious, just not as super-healthy! lol! Cucumber - it's Nacho usual chip - haha! I know, I'm sorry! haha! But it is good! Deelish!

Now I think I'm gonna add everything to little cucumber slices! lol! And perfect for a KETO or Paleo Diet, in case you're trying that out... : )

Well, here's something funny - this is the biggest plate of the Real Baked Potato Chips that I could get - the second they were ready, they were gone - dat make'a me happy!

And they all cooked at different times - I flipped them a bunch of times, to make them really crisp - yum!

So, they're just very thinly sliced potatoes - this was three potatoes - left over from our Thanksgiving Dinner - we don't eat potatoes very often, so, usually they grow their own legs, then I plant them out on the balcony - you can just pop potatoes in any soil, you'll have beautiful vines in no time, plus, new potatoes! Yay!

I'm gonna look up all the Health Benefits of Potatoes, since, really, it's all the frying and additives that you would want to avoid, for potato chips, not the actual potato - with a li'l Olive Oil and Salt : )

Here you go! But, you already knew there were lots of Health Benefits of Potatoes, right? That's what makes them soo delicious!

"... food ranking system qualified potatoes as a very good source of vitamin B6 and a good source of potassium, copper, vitamin C, manganese, phosphorus, niacin, dietary fiber, and pantothenic acid. Potatoes also contain a variety of phytonutrients that have antioxidant activity."

My son heated up some already cooked and frozen Taco Meat, and he added a li'l Salsa to that - this is the amount of meat I had...

And how much for the boy - lol! And hardly any chips left, by the time I got over to his place - hahaha! That's a VERY good sign of something delicious! lol!

See how some of them cook faster than the others? Just take them off the cookie sheet as they're ready... and flip them before you pop them back in - yum!

I just lightly covered the 'chips' with a little Oil - I used Olive Oil, but you could use any oil, or no oil - up to you, baby!

See how they're translucent? I tried to let them sit for a second, make them even crispier, but they were sooo delicious, as soon as I took each batch out the oven, they were gone - lol! Yum!

I gave them a little bit of Salt on them when they came out the oven, too - soooo good! : )

Grapes are from God, right? lol! ; )

Can Jelly Squares Help You Lose Weight?? Yep! : > #Jello #Yum! #Diet #Treats #Jelly! #KidFriendly #Parenting

JELLO Squares - so cute!

A Little Pop of Flavor! Yum!

Yummy Jelly Squares

So, can Jelly Squares help you lose weight??  Or Jello Squares, depending on what you call jelly! lol!

1 Small Package of Jello (Jelly!)
1 Cup of Boiling Water
Grease the 8" X 8" Square Pan with a little bit of Vegetable Oil : )
Refrigerate
Cut into squares - Deelish!

OR

1 Large Package Jello Powder + 2 Cups of Boiling Water, bigger pan ; )

OR

1 Cup Jello Powder
4 Cups Boiling Water
A little bit of Vegetable Oil or Butter to grease a large pan
Cut into squares, or slices (very refreshing!), or little shapes with cookie cutters : )

Enjoy! It's all so easy! And delicious!

I mix the Jello with the Boiling Water right in the Measuring Cup - is super fast and easy, and remember to grease the pan with some Vegetable Oil, they won't stick to the pan, they'll slip right ou, easy schmeasy! : )

Oooh, look at how cute!

Tonight I made these tasty little tidbits of flavor before I went to bed - but read longer than I thought I would, so, well, now I'm back up, and the Jelly is ready (set, go! lol!)...

Anyway, I looove the Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese (if you haven't tried it, yet, omg, it's delicious!)

So I keep the little plastic containers the Frozen Entrees come in, store them away for another day, since they're great for putting treats in, when I'm sending them out to a new home (giving them away!), but tonight I thought I'd halve the water, just use 1 Cup of Boiling Water per little package of the Jello, and I use the normal one, since I don't really agree with artificial sweetener, if you can avoid it, is better to go natural, wherever you can : )

So I just made a normal pan in the 8" X 8" pan, remember to pour in a little drop of oil (Corn Oil, of Safflower Oil - anything with no significant taste), rub that along the bottom and sides, then go ahead and pour in the Jelly...

I like to make these delightful little Jelly Squares before I go to bed, then they're ready in the morning, and kids LOVE to wake up to Jello Squares, that's for sure! Me, too! And hopefully, you, three! haha!

Okay, on with the show... lol! (I just wanted to add that little bit in, from tonight! Ailsa!! : )

You might have had these yummy little Jelly Squares when you were little, or at a party when you were wee, or maybe your mom made them for you, but they're super-easy to make, fun to eat, and if you're watching what you eat, trying to lose some weight, they're a great thing to have in the fridge for those times (sooo many times!! hahaha!) you might want something sweet and yummy to eat.

I love the texture - I'm a big jelly fan, for sures! In Scotland (and probably all through the UK!), they have THE most delicious little jelly squares that they sell in these wee packages, and their jelly squares are seriously condensed jelly - soooo delicious!

I haven't been able to find those jelly squares, here (and I've looked though all the British bits of the shops, here (!), and found lots of Jelly Babies, which I looooove (maybe a bit too much! lol!), and my favourite Licorice Jellies.. ( you know those round sweeties in with the Licorice Allsorts, pink and blue, with little dots all over them? Yum!), but these little Jelly Squares are a lot less expensive, and, hopefully, quite a bit less sugar - maybe because you'll have one or two pieces and feel happy with that, and how much harm can that possibly do, hmmm?? Not much, I say!

Better than a chocolate bar (which I also love! Thus the need for the Jelly Squares! lol!)  Anyway, here's how to make the Jelly Squares (Jello Squares). I usually get the WalMart Brand of Jelly, since it's probably half the price of the Jello - and the recipe isn't on those boxes.

Kids looove these little treats, and you will, too : )

Just use 2 of the small boxes, or one of the large boxes, of jelly powder (they have a sugar-free version - I like the original, but only because I have a reaction to sugar substitutes) (oh, I see I have my porridge in the picture - I was just about to have me fave porridge for breakfast! lol! And my cup of tea!). The only 'weird' part of this recipe is that you rub butter in the pan so the jelly doesn't stick, but if you don't mind it sticking, you could skip that, make the jelly straight in the pan, but I love when you cut the jelly into squares and it just slides out - that's just fun! lol!

Only put the Boiling Water in - skip the cold water, so if the box says add 2 cups of water, one cup boiling water, one cup cold water, you're just going to add one cup of boiling water.

For 2 small boxes of jelly powder, add 2 cups of boiling water, stir well, pour into the greased dish.

Oh, and if you like the art behind the jelly, it's a Cara Roy, and from the lovely wee town, Seaside, where they filmed The Truman Show... nice, right? From my lovely Mum and Dad!) (And my lovely daughter's name is Cara, so I am particularly fond of Cara Roy's Art! lol!)

And I don't even use the bowl to make the Jelly Squares, any more... I just make them straight in the 2 cup measuring cup - so easy!  Just put the Jello Powder in the measuring cup, add about a cup of the boiling water, stir well, add the rest of the water to 2 cups, stir well, pour it straight in the pan - pop it in the fridge, and Voila, lots of lovely little tasty treat! : )

See the butter in the pan?  I like using glass dishes for jelly.  Make sure your spoon is ready when you put the boiling water in, or you'll get a big glob of jelly powder! lol!  But no worries, I'm sure you'll have a spoon ready! lol!

Oh, now I just use any regular oil, like Canola Oil, or Sunflower Oil - or you could use Coconut Oil (but I looove the Coconut Oil for mah' face - is THE best for taking off eye make up, and I believe Coconut Oil has amazing healing benefits, too, especially for your skin, but Google Coconut Oil to see what all Coconut Oil can do for you - you will be amazed!  Don't use it on your teeth, though, if you have fillings, veneers, crowns...coconut oil can loosen the glue, soo, dat not good - lol!  A little bit funny, but a whole lot 'not good' - lol!  And men need to make sure they don't eat too much coconut oil - can also be 'not good' for da mens... yikes!).

Pour the jelly into the pan : )

Score the jelly when it's set. Use a nice sharp knife : ) Wait 'til the jello is really set before you pull the pieces out, and if you pull the first guy out of the corner, the rest should come right out with your fingers or a regular knife.

Here's my favorite new way to make our tasty little Jelly Squares - I use a little bit of Sunflower Oil instead of the butter to make it sooo easy to lift the Jelly Squares out of the pan. I use about a half a capful of Sunflower Oil - put that in the pan, use a piece of plastic wrap to make sure the whole bottom and sides of the pan - easy schmeasy, then pour the liquid jelly into the pan, pop in the fridge. Done!  TaaDaa, a lovely wee treat!! : )

TaaDaa!  So easy, and if these little Jelly Squares help with your diet, all the better!  They definitely work for me - so I think I'll make the orange jelly squares, tomorrow. And it's just good to keep them in the fridge, so when you open the fridge, there they are!  A nice little low-cal, fat free treat, just for you (and anyone else who happens to open your fridge!! lol!).

And if you have a little person (or a bigger, adult-size person) in your home, these are great if someone has a sore throat... my poor little guy, Aidan, had a sore throat, so I quickly made these for him.  If you're making the regular jelly for kids, it's fun to pour it into fancy wine glasses - kids love that stuff! Jello, it's a nice wee treat! : )

Hilarious, right?  Jelly in a Wine Glass - the kids love it - and a surprising number of adults love it, too! lol!  I took the photo up against our calendar - great picture, right?? hahaha!

"Open an IRA in 15 minutes or less. Rollover your 401k or open and fund your IRA and get up to $600 cash Get started today."

Hahahaha, this ad made me laugh - "Thumbs, meet your new favorite App."  Funny! : )

#LoseWeight WITHOUT a Giant Hassle #lol! #Ailsa (That's Me!) #Diet #GetHealthy #JerseyMilk #Paleo #Keto #Bananas! #YouBeYouBoo!

It's meee, in Vegas! I think I'm 46 in this pic : ) Age Schmage! lol!

Oh, and here's a really easy way to just drop some unwanted pounds, drop a few sizes, if you want to - cut your portions in half - for real - just try it for a little while, see if this might work for you, instead of trying to follow some crazy new diet that's such a pain to do, you feel all deprived, then you're mad, then you blame that stooopido scale - which I normally don't believe in, since usually getting on a scale just makes you crazy and mad, or sad and upset, or addicted to the scale, however, I DID get on the scale at my lovely daughter's house, you know, just to see, and, well, errr, guess how I came up with the 'Cut it in Half, Walk Away Diet'? lol! Dat me, o' course! lol! Makes me mad, because I have such a healthy lifestyle, I THINK I eat all healthy - anyway, me was a'shocked at da number - holy schmoly, Batman, so, I just started eating half of what I would have normally had, you literally get up from wherever you're eating, either don't put it on your plate, at all, add to it later, if you need or want to - all the choices are yours to make, as always - happiness first, frankly....

But see how you feel if you DO walk away, or have half your normal portions, do you feel okay? Sometimes, if you take a few minutes to let your meal digest, you might be super-surprised to see that you are satisfied, and that maybe your 'old' portion size was based more on habit, than on what you actually need, you know? You can always put it in the fridge for later, or have it another day, freeze all sorts of things... worth a try, right? And then add fruits and veggies, oatmeal where you can - lol! : )

Oh, and here's what else I'm doing, these days... I'm trying to do the #Paleo Diet, #Keto Diet, but is super-hard for me to do - I find that I need to have some carbs to round out the diet, you know?  (And maybe that's how I got all 'rounded out'? hahaha! Me make'a mah'self laughs - lol!) I get shaky when I don't eat enough, so now I'm just kind of balancing the ideas of the Paleo/Keto Diet with my own reality - plus, I really love Oatmeal, and I do believe that Oatmeal is a great way to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight - plus all the other great health benefits of oatmeal...

Anyway, do what's right for you, follow your common sense, find a good balance that works for you, and most importantly, love yourself, be happy, be good to yourself : )

One of my favorite new health snacks - yum! You should love everything you eat, and then you'll be enjoying your life, right? Right!

I love a Kiwi quartered, (my son eats the skin of the #Kiwi, but I skip that part - lol!), and a nice crisp Granny Smith Apple - yum! Soo deelish!

*****
Aaargh, I just read a stupi article online, this morning, in between applying for jobs I may or may not get (Thank God for my million back-up plans!! lol!), and, man, are there ever some idiotic, mean-spirited, weight loss plans out there... they're sooo mean!!  The ones I read this morning were on Yahoo, I think... bunch of yahoos that wrote that article, that's fer sures! lol!!

They said you should eat with no distractions -- just you, all alone, sitting there, all lonely 'n all, with nothing to think about but that last 2500 pounds you want to get rid of... how sad is that???  They said 'no watching TV' while you're eating -- that's all we do!! hahahaha!

We have the DVR all set to have our favorite shows all lined up, just FOR dinner time!!  Oh, and for breakfast, lunch, snacks... aaah, errrrr, I guess we really love da TV!!  But who doesn't, and with the magical wonderment that is the DVR, we can watch whatever we like, whenever we want -- is a little miracle in a box!

And we are NOT getting all fat because of the TV watching -- no, it's probably the chocolates that are doing that... hahahahaha!  Idiots.  I canny stand mowons, and meannie mowons... noooo!  I say, NOOO!  I say, be kind to peoples who iz a'tryin' to lose weight... isn't that a nicer approach?  It's like when you go to the gym, and some crazy-assss trainer thinks you need to be motivated by being yelled at -- ah, nooooo.  Just place good looking people around for me to look at - and, frankly, I looove mirrors to look at meself at da gym!! hahahaha! Whatever, it's fun to watch your own muscles move about!! hahaha! Silly!! I'm laughing, myself, now... it kills me when those muscle gym boys just can't tear themselves away from the mirror... I had a boyfriend like that, once -- okay, you got me, a lot more than once, but that's just because I really, really like da gym boys!! hahaha!)... anyway, this guy, Ron, I'll call him, because I'm pretty sure that was his name (is that a good or a bad sign that you can't quite recall the names of da peoples you've dated??? hahahaha! I feel pretty good about remembering the ones I married... then divorced... and my favorites in-between!!  Truth be told, I think I liked the 'in-between' guy da bestest, but that's a secret, and I'm pretty sure that secret is safe enough on the worldwide web... not THAT many people read it, for God's Sake...

So anyway, and I'm sorry I digressed, that is NOT like me, at all, but these crazies are advocating counting calories over going to the gym -- what kind of BS is that??  Just because your JOB is a 'dietitian', doesn't mean you advocate for the thing you do, and diss all the rest of the stuff... they said that people (I think they talkin' about da fatties, here, and I resent being called a fatty by those unattractive skinny wee things... I'll only take advice from someone I want to look like... it's like going to the hair dresser, and everyone of the hairdressers has a mullet... and guess what you're gonna have when you leave???  Yep, your very own mullet, and won't you be cryin' in the car, then, hmmmm?

So take a look at the person who's giving all the friendly (and too often, not-so-friendly, down-right-mean weight loss advice... do you want to look like them, all gaunt, or do you want to look sleek and sexy?  Guant, you say??  Well, no TV for you then!! hahahaha!

I'll take sleek and sexy, any day, so you DO want to go to the gym, and they say, just because you went to the gym, now you're an idiot, and you'll go home and eat everything in sight, because you went to the gym... nooooo.  You might NEED to eat a reasonable amount if you're really doing a serious work out at the gym, and you WILL trim down when you go to the gym.

I think they're trying to maintain their business, right?? haha!  Give terrible advice so they'll always have clients??  That's terrible!  People need to know, go to the gym (or do it at home), but Work Out those Big Muscles, your legs, especially, and your arms, your core will automatically get a good workout when you hold in your tummy when you're lifting any of the weights.... then your body will need to food you're eating to feed your new muscles.... let your muscles do all the weight loss for you, while you're watching your fave shows on TV... you do NOT have to sit all alone 'to focus on your food'... that's hilarious!

Oh, and they said you should get up and go for a 15 minute walk in the middle of your meal -- yes, that's very practical.  The kids are gonna love that... okay, kids, stop eating, we HAVE to go for a 15 minute walk, and it's not THAT rainy outside... and we can finish our dinner, if we still want it, later, when we get back and it's all cold and congealed... yum!!  Sounds great!  Talk about practical!

Oh, and one more wee thing I've heard, recently... apparently from a doctor... that women's knees aren't made to go to the gym, work out... what total BS these people are spouting.  Omg, makes me soo mad.  For a long time, I wanted to open a gym, myself, to teach women, in particular, because sooo much misinformation is put out there for us, how to really shape or re-shape their bodies. Get nice sleek legs with no cellulite... is sooo easy!  And no creams, neither! lol! Just one easy exercise, one that you can do at home, or do at the gym... I'll link it for you... think I have it on here, but it's on my regular website, too... I just don't like when people waste a lot of time and money on stuff that doesn't work, or doesn't work as quickly,  and lasts forever... that's the sort of thing I like...

So you can see I'm all riled up, this morning!  That should be a few calories, right there, right?? hahaha!  Nooo, I don't count calories.  I'm mildly aware of them, but it's more important to be aware of your intake of Fat Grams (around 37 grams of fat per day for women, I think it's around 65 grams of Fat per day for men -- I was gonna say, 65 grams of fat per day for MEEE, just for a wee laugh!! hahaha!, but noooo, just 37 grams of fat per day for most women... I think I'm usually waaay under that number, and you don't want to be obsessive about it, just make yourself aware of the fat grams in whatever it is you like to eat, then you can moderate it, yourself... and then watch the numbers on your Carbohydrates... is on the labels of most food, and you would want to stay around the 24 mark, there... the lower, the better (12 is a great number for carbs, but 24 is okay, and if you're a granola fan, 43 isn't great, but it's not the end of the world, if you love it and maybe it's paired with some fruit...

This is, for real, mah' favourite food, at the moment.... me canny get enough o' da Bananas and Jersey Milk Chocolate Bars - yum! One half a square of Jersey milk, broken in two in you' mouth, then a bit o' da Banana.. omg, heaven! and then with the Apple - I looove a lovely crisp Apple, with couple of the Apple Oatmeal Chewy Bars - me know me should just have the fruit on it's own, like in the Olden Days (a few weeks ago, before I discovered these phenomenal taste treats - hahaha!), but now it's too late, I've discovered delicious tasty combos, and it might be a while before I go back to my old ways... haha! Yum! (And I totally legitimize my Food Choices, by easily telling myself, wow, good for you, look at you, eating a piece of fruit!!) See how easy?

And speaking of Fruits and Vegetables... I canny stand it when anyone suggests you should limit the amount of fruit and veggies... aaargh!!  Nooo, don't even suggest that!  Eat all the fruit and veggies you want!  Go ahead, it won't stay, and you'll be waaay healthier in the long run, too.  If it's natural, it's probably okay... they had a thing on Mike and Molly the other night (see, now we're back to the TV, again... it all comes full-circle!! lol!), where Molly is very, very upset that bananas might have gotten into her food, secretly (not sure how you would sneak a banana into someone's food...!)... now, we love Mike and Molly, it's one of the funniest shows on TV, these days, but I thought, that's a terrible message... noooo!  Bananas Good, as Neanderthal Ned would say, had he survived the Ice Age...

Oh, and for a tasty and super-fast meal, try dipping a banana straight into your favorite cereal - I like a banana dipped into my fave Granola - Harvest Crunch, at the moment... yum! Fast and easy - and really a good optioon if you're all out of milk, or dairy-free : )

One of my favorite little 'secrets' to help me stay on track, have something crunchy and tasty - I love these little Cherry Tomatoes - and they're easy to grow in containers, too, if that appeals to you : ) Yum!  delicious! See my little trick of holding the Cherry tomatoes up against the picture of Yosemite for a better picture?? lol!

Otay, me rant is over for the day!  Go have something healthy to eat, and watch a show while you're at it... and go for a walk when you feel like it, maybe after the blizzard abates a little!! lol! Oh, let me go get those exercise links for you... there are soo many easy schmeasy ways to lose weight that hardly cost a thing... and if you're lucky enough to live anywhere near a Sprouts, they have incredible prices on fruits and vegetables, and Smart and Final has the best price in the States for a giant bag o' salad... and my new fave thing for snacks is a box of Cherry Tomatoes (unless you can grow them, yourself, lucky dog!!).. just keep them washed and in the fridge, pop a few in your mouth (one at a time ... I dinny want to get in trouble with a choking issue!! hahaha!) whenever you find yourself grazing at the fridge... they're tasty, crunchy... yumm!!  Good luck with your EASY dieting!! No need to make your life hard while you're getting yourself all lovely and healthy, right??  Be kind to yourself.  It'll be easier to be nice to others, that way!! lol!

I just saw a Pinterest picture for Weight Loss, and it was close to 150 pounds, with the woman all worried and upset about that number -  We need to know the weights that are okay for our bodies, for our heights... one size does not fit all, far from it - Be Healthy, Be Happy, don't tie your happiness to a number on a scale.  (please : )

Okay, me gots'ta go, but I hope you are having THE Best Day, eat yummy things that are good for you (Mars Bars are good for you, right? Yeah? Good, good.. glad I checked with you, first - bah'hahahahaah!) But go on and Enjoy your Life, Enjoy your Food, Love Yourself, and the rest will follow : ) Be Kind to you'self! : ) Ailsa : )

Remember when Suze Orman used to say your weight was connected to your money? I think there is some truth to that, since it does all seem to come down to balance (like, wait for it... the Balance in your Savings Account?? Buh'dum-bum!)... anyway, something to think about... Wouldn't it be soo great, if it were the more weight you had, the more money you had? We'd be RICH, baby! (More Chocolate, all around! Hahaha!)

High Yield Savings Accounts  (A great idea! Make Money on your Money, right? right!)

Discover Bank CDs 6-month CDs I like to keep my money more liquid, just in case me wants to build another house, or I happen to see something I really want o buy... real estate-wise - lol! This is so cool - let's say you've now been binge watching your fave shows, and you STILL have 4 more seasons left of your brand new-to-you show, soo you don't want to get up off the couch, but, also, you know you should probably get you' some groceries?

Problem - Solution! lol!

Check and see if your area is covered by either VONS or Safeway... they cover some of the same areas, and some different areas - does that make sense? lol!

I loove this Delivery Service for Groceries and whatever you might need, right to your door, just in general, but what a great idea in bad weather, no more stooopid traffic, or if you're not feeling up to going out to the store, or you just don't feeeel like going out to the store...or if you're like me, and get so caught up in whatever you're working on, and don't want to stop just 'for food' - haha! And no need for Taxis, if you need to take a cab to the grocery store...that's a huge savings, right there, right?

Wow, Grocery Delivery Service - that's fantastico!! Yippee!!  Hello, Future - you look great! : )

I think this is such an amazing new service for your groceries - and anything you ever need from the grocery store - if you've ever had a time when you had a tiny baby, or you're super-busy (same thing - hahaha! All the New Moms will be laughing, now - lol!)..but if you're busy at work, or busy at home, or traffic, or you're busy binge-watching your favorite shows - hahahahaha! This might be the new wave of the future, right? Ordering your groceries online?

And I would imagine you would save a lot of money, since you would just buy what you actually need... might really work for dieting, too, since, well, if we're in the store, and be 'we', I mean 'me'...anyway, let's say I've got my grocery list, then I'm at the store, and I think, you know what, I'll just nick down the Candy Aisle, see if Chocolate is on sale (see how much I like Sale Chocolate - hahaha! Is it tastier, or just less expensive?? We'll never know! It's all gone, now - hahaha!)

Not that you couldn't just 'browse' for that, anyway... right? Me thinkin', now, o' course, where is the Sale Chocolate, online?? hahaha! But let's say you're you, and not me, and you have a LOT more self control than maybe ME do... so you order all the things you really wanted, and not just a whole cart full o' Wunderbars, on sale... hahahaha! Wouldn't THAT be fun - just a cartful of Sale Chocolate?? haha! Okay, clearly, me needs a treat! lol! : ) #SaleChocolate! Ha!

Shop Gifts Under $10 from See's Candies!Create your own Custom Chocolate Mix at See's Candies!  Okay, this is MY kind o' Luxury Reward - me always 'reward' mah'self wit' da delicious chocolates! hahaha!  I loove Sees Candies - soo deeelish!
