Yahoo, Can-Am Days are back in Myrtle Beach - Yahoo! That's GREAT News for Canadians - our Canadian Dollar is soo low, right now  (hint, hint - for all my lovely American Friends, this is a great time to travel to Canada - we're 30% off, right now! And hopefully not for very long - I like when our Canadian Dollar is on par with the American Dollar - that's what works best for me - lol!)

But during the Can-Am Days, our Canadian Dollar is taken on par with the US Dollar, so, is soo much easier to travel - Thanks, Myrtle Beach!

Oh, hey, maybe other places will have Can-Am Days, for all the little happy Canadian Travelers! We would love that! : )
My morning coffee view -- beautiful!

Don’t Miss Out! Save up to 60% Off Hotels!  Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a great vacation spot for people on the East Coast -- just jump in the car and the next thing you know, you're there!  and the hotels are a great price, right now -- we got a great deal at the Caravelle Resort... we chose it because my daughter's name is Cara, sooo.... you can see why we clicked on the Caravelle Resort in Myrtle Beach! lol!  But it was fantastic -- the first time I've stayed in a hotel with a kitchen and little dining room table, and a separate room... was great!  We got the Breakfast included in our package -- what a great deal, but if I were doing it, again, I would skip the breakfast and have cereal for breakfast, instead (mostly because there's a Target in Myrtle Beach, and Target carries my favorite, favorite cereal that I love ... Archer's Farms Chocolate Chunk Hazelnut Biscotti granola -- deeelicious and fresh with a sliced banana -- yum!  But when we were looking at hotels in Myrtle Beach, there were soo many great deals... easily you could find a great place for a family vacation (or a couple, or friends... whoever you want to go with! lol Or on your own for a total break! haha!) for around $500-1,000/week (maybe even less...!)...look around, you'll be happy with what you find : )

Ocean View from our hotel room -- gorgeous to wake up to : )

Ghirardelli Chocolate Super Sweet Sale!

Okay, so here's the Lazy River -- was soo much fun and soo many laughs!  Is not the most glamorous thing, and you need to be super-careful when you try to wedge yourself back out of the rubber tube thing when you're finally ready to come out... is so hard to want to come out of the Lazy River, because every time you go around the front edge, the speed picks up and whips you around the loop, again -- is sooo much fun! Watch out for your bathing suit on your way out the Lazy River, though!! lol!

Save 10% on Ghirardelli Chocolate Gifts
On our way back from the pool and the Lazy River, my new favorite thing, ever!  Hillllarious, and  the sort of thing I think would be even more fun with a couple o' drinks! lol!

A quick stroll on the beach after breakfast each day -- great way to start the day! Will remember not to take pictures with that little handbag under my arm -- great little handbag, but not overly flattering in photos! lol!

Oh, man, I loove Myrtle Beach - their Pralines, alone, are worth the trip - lol! But is always so gorgeous, and lots of great memories, from all the trips we made to Myrtle Beach when I was a teenager... so much fun! And now Myrtle Beach has their Can-Am Days, again - where they take the Canadian Dollar on par with the US Dollar - yippee!! It would finally be affordable for Canadians to travel to the US, again! Thanks, Myrtle Beach - oh, and check out the great restaurants - Benjamin's is our favourite! Yum! I lvoe a Seafood Buffet (You see the food and eat it - nooo, me joke, but is an amazing buffet!)  Leave room for their delicious little Lime Desserts - so light and lovely!

OBJECTIVES
My Main Objective in Life is to Teach to others the many valuable lessons I have learned over the years. When that comes to Special Needs Students, I firmly believe that everyone has a Special Purpose in life, and I enjoy bringing out the best in all of my students. Skills can be developed by a wide variety of learning opportunities, so I believe it is my job to bring those opportunities to each individual student. It is a wonderful thing to witness someone discover their strengths so they can go out into the world fully confident in their ability to do well and to be successful.

Teaching:
Los Angeles Unified School District, Community Based Instruction (CBI), Special Education, Westchester High School. 2006 - 2011. I have been fortunate enough to teach a wonderful group of students with Special Needs in this amazing CBI Program. We actively ran the School Garden, participated in Gardening Programs with Descanso Gardens, had very active Cooking and Work Experience Programs, alongside a highly interactive Academic Program, with an emphasis on Technological Skills, Reading, Math and Money Awareness.
Los Angeles Unified School District. Special Education, Severely Handicapped, Senior Division, Widney High School. 1990-1993. I have spent the past ten years Writing and Developing this very substantial Website, which enjoys a large Readership and a great deal of Monthly Traffic. My plan is to continue with the website management, and build on the growth I have already experienced. This website grew out of a desire to teach people how to Manage their Finances and ultimately being able to buy or build their own home. The Site grew to include anything I felt was useful to Everyday Living, that wasn't being taught elsewhere. I consider this work one of my best 'Teaching Experiences', because of the sheer number of people I have been able to help. Also, I've learned more about the Computer than I ever would have imagined for myself, so that was an added bonus.

Construction -- Building and Renovation, 1996 - 2006. Over these years I have Renovated, Developed and Built a number of Buildings, culminating with the Design and Build of my own 5400 square foot home. It was a huge undertaking, and I came away with innumerable Skills and Knowledge that will serve me well in the Future.

Cherry Cheesecake -- perfect for a lovely Valentine's Dessert. Sooo delicious! See how easy...https://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.com/2010/10/cherry-cheesecake.html
I made a huuge 'sheet cake' version of my favourite Cherry Cheesecake in a 9" X 13" glass pan ... lasted for ages, was sooo big! And deeelicious!

Fancy Fruit Puffs - These lovely wee Fruit Puffs are particularly easy to make, and very nice to serve. Pop in to get the Recipe for Fruit Puffs.

Phenomenal Peach Pie... really, this peach pie is incredible, and even better in the morning for breakfast!! lol!

Men love Peach Pie, and this peach pie is best served cold... the colder it gets, the better it tastes!  Now I'm gonna have to make one, tomorrow! lol!

Okay, now this message is mostly for the men out there in computerland... if your wife or girlfriend, or fling, or whatever she is to you (or your MOM!!  Hey, this is a day to celebrate love, and who loves you more than your Mom?? haha!), is preparing a nice dinner for you, for God's Sake don't show up empty-handed... no.  She won't forgive you, and she'll never forget your thoughtlessness (although she will say she will, maybe...)... it's a better investment to get some flowers, at the very least... unless you're bringing some serious A-Game... then maybe you will be forgiven, but why not bring your A-Game AND some pretty gifts?? lol! Good luck with that! xox

Cheesecake Mousse - Oh, man, how did I forget to put THIS phenomenally delicious Cheesecake Mousse on this Valentine's Desserts page? But any of these recipes are great for any time, at all - for you, and even for someone else, but you should really love them, first - these delicious treats are too good to share with people you no likes - hahahaaha!

Once you get all your ingredients, together, and it's pretty simple, and you can make it low-cal, if you like - is easy - but make it any way you like, and I just use a large baggie, fill it with the Cheesecake Mousse mixture, cut a little corner off the baggie, gently and carefully pour into each fancy glass or shot glass.

See how easy? lol!

I like the little shot glasses, because, one, they're so cute, and makes me laugh - Shot shot shot, shotshot... you know the song - haha!

AND, it's a lovely little treat (emphasis on the 'little', soo, you can have it when you happen to open the fridge, remember that you have them in there - what a fantastic and delicious treat!! Yum!!

Cheesecake Mousse - Yum!

In case now you want to go on a trip - lol! Do it! It's fun to try the food all over the world! Yum! #FoodTravel! Oh, yeah, and lok at the sights, too - haha!
