This Tiny Cookie Has 16 Grams of Fat - but it's soo little! And only a little bit tasty! lol!

Look at this cookie. Tempting, right? Looks tasty. Looks sooo innocent. But is it? No. It's neither tasty nor innocent, but do I love them, accidentally? Yes. They are addictive little things, but I canny buy these, any more! hahahaha!  I gots to stop, and here's why - I bought these a while back - I had been eyeing them up in the bakery aisle at Safeway for a few weeks - it's the icing sugar, they remind me of these delicious cookies the mother of one of my friends used to make at Christmas Time, but these are NOT the same cookies. These little addictive cookies are called Pistachio Mamoul. You had me at Pistachio! hahahaha!  A cookie with pistachios in it, AND it's covered in icing sugar, AND it looks like it's shortbread??  I'm in.

So I'm casually, and slowly, Thank God, making my way through these lovely little virtually tasteless cookies (it's a very light flavour, and clearly I have developed a taste for! lol!), when, the other night, I thought, My God, it's entirely possible these little cookies have 5, count em', FIVE grams of fat in them... then I quickly dismissed my thought as ridiculous, went about my tiny task of making a nice cup of tea to go with my little Pistachio Mamoul cookie....

So jump to the NEXT night, I'm in the kitchen, still thinking, it's entirely possible these teensy tiny cookies could have a lot of fat in them, and the nutritional information is right on the bottom of the package, so it's not like it's not right there in front of me, I had simply chosen not to look at it, and spoil all my teensy tiny flavour fun! lol!  I wanted to live in the dark. Happy to live without knowledge that this little cookie might be bad for me. No. I didn't want to know. Like a very bad boyfriend, sometimes, you don't want to know the details, you just want to enjoy the boyfriend.... been there? Yeah, me, too! hahahahaha! Boyfriends and cookies, my very slight downfall! hahahaahaha! (Okay, I think that's jus' for me, really makes me laugh, while I'm sitting here, writing... passing the time before I eat another COOKIE!! hahaha!)

So there it is, the guilty culprit, the tiniest, almost most flavourless, cookie on the planet, and I want them very badly. See how tiny it is? I put it on my BUSINESS CARD, just so you could see the actual size.

That teensy tiny cookie has 16 grams of fat. SIXTEEN GRAMS of FAT. What the helll???  I just about bloody dropped. And then you can't take information back out of your head, much as I tried, because I have big plans to finish off the rest of these little cookies.... but I have GOT to never buy them, again ... said the girl with no resistance! hahahaha!

16 grams of fat!!  Omg, that's almost half of my normal 'goal' of 37 grams of fat per day - I am NOT against fat, don't get me wrong, here - I happen to LOVE fat! hahaha!  And I don't like fat-free products, because they just fool your body, which can't be fooled - it's just your mind that can be fooled, not your body... your body always knows what's goin' on....but your mind, well, as I know from personal experience, and a LOT of personal experience, a mind is a very easy thing to waste......no, that's a different campaign... a mind is very easy thing to fool...you can easily pull one over on your very own mind! hahahaah!  Think how many times a day you try to pull the wool over your own mind!  Hilarious! Is so funny! Tryin' to trick ourselves, all the time! Humans - we be crazy! hahahaha!

Okay, I'm gonna go have that cookie!  It's sitting right beside me, patiently waiting for me to enjoy it, a little... seriously, there's virtually no flavour! So funny, and I want it so badly.... oh, and it really is filled with pastachios, that's most likely where the fat comes from (says my mind, who is sooo easily fooled), so is maybe a healthy cookie?? hahahaahah!! Tweet Okay, so I just got an email from Time Warner Cable, I guess because I used to be a customer, I just stopped being a customer before this whole withdrawal of CBS shows has come to be - what on earth are they thinking???  But I've been watching The Late Show with David Letterman, and, omg, he is soo funny with the whole Time Warner blackout thing... it's the craziest thing! 

So here's a little tidbit I just got in my email from Time Warner Cable:

Offering Starz Kids & Family premium channel on a temporary preview basis;

Making the Tennis Channel available to you at no additional charge during the two weeks of the US Open beginning August 26*; Hahahahaahah!!  Ooooh, did you just say all your Time Warner customers can have TENNIS (riveting, just like the banter between David and Paul on Letterman...), AND Starz Kids and Family???  Oh, boy!  Sounds like top-quality shows I would NEVER watch.... So what gives??  What are Time Warner customers doing about this? Do they have any real recourse? I know where I had Time Warner, it was part of my HOA package, I just paid extra for all my fave shows (noooo, that didn't include Tennis ans Starz Kids.... and Family! hahaahahahaha! Is Time Warner trying to shut itself down?  Make all their customers so mad, there's a mass evacuation... who else is out there? AT&T? I can't remember who else is in the Los Angeles area... I'll check into it for you, and for my own curiosity, because I'm pretty sure we had a different company for a while at a different place.... I'll check for New York, too, since a lot of the jokes on David Letterman were about TV viewers in New York - oh, man, when Letterman brought out this old guy who was pretending to be the CEO of Time Warner, that was hilarious! Soo funny! Okay, I hope they sort this all out - seems like the viewers are the ones who are losing out on everything - I hope Time Warner and CBS can work this whole thing out, put all our fave shows back on the air for everyone - and I'm sooo glad I have Shaw! Oh, and for the record, I love the people who work for Time Warner, especially all the folks at the bottom of the hill in Culver City, California - they couldn't be any sweeter, so this is from the higher ups, not the regular people at Time Warner... : ) Happy TV Watching! Big Brother Begins Again!

Wow, another summer, another Big Brother - WooHoo! I like the cast, if you will (!) - the Texas Blonde - she's cute, looks like she means business, I like McRae - is a good sign when you can remember their names on the first night - is like when you're teaching a big class of kids - certain ones stand right out... i love that they think he's a secret genius - looove that! Mr. Pizza Delivery Man - McRae seems all very Zen to me - content in doing his very best delivery system, ever, making sure people get their pizza really fast - that's great! And if McRae wins, he'll have a cool half-mil to get a fancier delivery car, but something tells me he would stick to his fave car, put the money safely in the bank....

I like Howard, of course - very handsome, I like the whole 'God Helps Those Who Help Themselves' - 'God helps they tha' help themselves', in Scottish! hahahaha! God knows I've heard that a million times, and it's true enough.... Howard, makin' alliances - oh, and I love the girl who THINKS she's gorgeous - iz hilarious! Ah, nope.  Nothing more obnoxious than a girl who thinks they're all that when they're not half o' that.... she's annoying. She can't even say the other girls are pretty - hmmm, seems like a little come-uppance is on it's way for her... no good personality, full of herself, not good looking - nope. I don't like that one, I just love her crazy undeserved arrogance...

I like the blonde girl form Long Island, maybe mostly because maybe she weathered a bad storm, lately... maybe she'll bring up Hurricane Sandy at some point... but I didn't like the realtor from Florida, but I did love the way Big Brother introduced her - chest first - now that's funny! I don't remember your name, but looks like you might have the same plastic surgeon as Rachel's sister... and very interesting to see Rachel's sister on Big Brother - wow. Shocking, right?? And is that Rachel's house they were standing in front of during the intros?  I didn't see any sign of Brandon... say whaaat?? Okay, I'm sorry to go all old school on you with the whole 'say whaaat' thing - but that sh*t really made me laugh! Oh, and did I tell you there's a great deal on Strawberry Dacquiris, right now?? hahahahaha! Yeah, they go great with Big Brother episodes! lol!

Loved the Surfer Dude, loved J-U-DD Judd even more for saying he thought he was the stupidest (did he really say stupidest, or am I embellishing for the sake of the character, right now?? Well, let's make the happy assumption that Judd did say he thought he was gonna be the stooopidest person on Big Brother, then he looks over at the Surfer Dude, thinks he's moved up a notch.... that's too funny! I loved that line : )

Oh, and I think the best looking girl on Big Brother was Julie Chen - wow, she looked amazing - great hair, gorgeous dress - really, that dress was soo gorgeous, I loved it!  She really looked fantastic : )

I like the whole audience interaction thing, the 3rd person going up for nomination by a secret house guest... interesting... I guess we'll know soo enough who can keep a secret - and who canny keep a secret! lol! I like the ones who can't keep a secret to save their lives - they're fun for me.. something endearing about the lack of ability to lie! lol!

Well, will be fun to see how this season of Big Brother unfolds....let me know if you're watching it, too, see who you like... oh, and I like Ope, the professor... wiating for him to be funny... haven't really seen a lot of wit in da house, jus' yet, but I'm sure we'll see who is overly serious, the meanies, the nce ones, who can cook, who loooves to work out (okay, they're my favourite, too! hahaha!)...will be a whole lotta summer fun with Big Bruthah'!!
