#TheBachelorette: Kaitlyn in Ireland, Makin' Her Way Through the Men...

Darn it, this version doesn't seem to be coming up, properly... hmmmm...

THE most awkward Rose Ceremony, Ever... bah'hahahaha!  I do love that Shawn refers to Nick only as 'the other guy', never by name, and that usually only happens when you really are in love with someone, you never want to hear or utter the name of 'the other person', if you know about them.... yick!  Is a horrible feeling, and you will go to great lengths to never say their name... and, most likely, you'll have come up with some pretty choice names of your very own, if you ever do have to make reference to the 'other person', the yuck that they are - bah'hahahaha!  Aaahh, that's life, though, right?  It's complicated, and it gets messy, sometimes... especially as the Final Rose Ceremony gets closer and closer, and in this season of The Bachelorette, doesn't it seem like the whole season has been shortened, significantly, and we're already into the Fantasy Suite Dates?  And what was with Shawn going over to confront Nick?  Hmmmm... he knows it's The Bachelorette, right? Make'a me laugh, a little bit...

Aaawww, poor Ben H., he's such a nice guy... I feel for him, since he seems like he really thinks he's in the running.. and I wish he were, since, frankly, Ben H. seems like the best option for husband material, all nice and normal.  Made me so sad to hear Ben H. say he feels like he's unlovable.  That's so sad, and I think a lot of people maybe feel the same way, so it's critical to truly understand how incredibly wonderful you are (yep, me talking straight to you, my little lovely... you're amazing, and if you are open for love, it will find you, and you will find love, or maybe you're already in a nice loving relationship... the important thing to remember, is you' da best, always remember that!)

I just read a book, over the weekend, Life Loves You, by Robert Holden - was a beautiful book, I loved it, and, interestingly enough, he addressed this very thing, people feeling like they are unlovable (I sooo want to spell that with an 'e', but I keep getting a red wiggly line.... urging me to be more American - which I would be happy to be! I loooved living in the US - was fantastic! lol!)

There you go - this link should take you straight to Life Loves You, by Robert Holden - so beautiful, you'll smile, you'll laugh, you'll feel great about yourself, and that's the real key to happiness and love, right?  You'll love it! : )

Shawn and Kaitlyn are having lots of good times, but was so odd that she told Shawn about Nick, when they're heading into the Fantasy Suite Dates, so soon, right?  Didn't that seem like she was forced to do that by the production team?  Just seemed like a very strange thing to tell him about, when it's all about to go down, anyway... hmmmm...questionable... all of it...

Does it seem like this is the very least amount of time Chris Harrison has ever spent talking to a Bachelor or Bachelorette?

Oh, they have the Publisher's Clearance House ad on TV, right now - I'm always watching something else while I'm writing - lol!  Anyway, let me go get that link for you, so you can enter the contests, too - hope you get lucky (like Kaitlyn?? bah'hahahah!) Browse though several online sweepstakes at PCH.com

This was crazy-funny on Jimmy Fallon, in case you haven't seen it, yet - so funny! hahaha! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h58hAFJvcVw

Doesn't it seem like most of Kaitlyn's moments with Shawn are like this, all full of drama, all distraught?  They certainly have the chemistry, but, it occurred to me, tonight, that Nick is 34, 4 years older than Kaitlyn, and Shawn is 27, 3 years younger than Kaitlyn... and those years matter, at that stage of the game... I think age matters less, as you get older, but, sometimes when a woman is older than a man, it's a different dynamic, where she might feel like, well, she's got more experience (seems like that is totally true, in this case.. lol!) than he has, which sort of goes without saying, but I've seen this in soo many relationships, marriages of over 40 years, the woman is slightly older than the man, and she's sooooo mad about the whole thing - is a funny little thing...

That age difference may not play into it, but, there seems to be way too much drama with Shawn, and Kaitly does seem to really enjoy her time with Nick - they look comfy and happy, together, not all stressed out and questioning... there's a limit to how much any one person wants to constantly have to prove themself to the other person - that's exhausting....and not a whole lot of fun.

Kaitlyn's got some thinkin' to do... very nice place to contemplate which man you might like to keep... lol!

Oooh, I soo want Amy Schumer to be the next Bachelorette - she would kill it, fo' sures!  She makes me laugh - so funny!

Wow, this guy's gorgeous - who is it, me wonders?? lol!  Well, a little eye candy for you! lol! Let me know if you happen to know who's in da picture, please! (Like that makes a difference - bah'hahahaha!  I may or may not ever meet them... hahahaha!)

#BB17 - Did Johnny Mac Throw the Competition, or Did He Just Follow Da's Lead, and they still lost? #LastLaugh

Ooh, I like this picture of the Big Brother Houseguests, because we can easily see how old everyone is... and James mentioned, on Big Brother After Dark, that he was looking forward to getting home to his daughter, sooo, that makes 2 parents in the house, but are they bonding over that?

Turns out that they are bonding over both being parents - Da'Vonne and James were talking about that on Big Brother After Dark, last night, and the Steve went in to talk to Vanessa, and tell Vanessa that he and some other people in the Big Brother House have figured out that there's a Twin Twist in the BB house... and Steve even sees the two faces of Liz and Julia, half and half, on the Big Brother wall - pretty freaky!  Can you imagine, is so cool - and Liz and Julia are doing a great job of pulling off the #TwinTwist... wonder what will happen, now, on Biiig Brother... Always Expect the Unexpected! lol!

Wow, so Shelli really is the oldest houseguest in the Big Brother house, this season? hahaha!  That makes me laugh.. I like it better when there's a wider range of people, but, that's okay... but it does really break me up when people (any people - is always a quick and easy sign o' da 'Crazy') use their own name in third Person, and tonight Shelli referred to herself as Shelli one time too many, soo, it's not like it was a mistake, or a little slip - either she wants to make sure everyone in TVland remembers her name, or there's something else going on, since it's super-weird to refer to yourself in the Third Person - nooo, no do dat.  It too weird.

Well, that made me laugh - lol!  I like the no Pre-Payment penalties - look for that phrase any time you borrow any money - on your personal loans, car loans, mortgage loans, home repair loans - anything, since you want to pay those loans back as quickly as possible, making the largest payments you can afford... that's the key, for sures.

So, is it really Audrey's 'plan' to 'play dead' for the whole week, by staying in bed the whole time...yikes.  Even Kathy Griffin said she really supports Audrey, but Audrey will have to pick up her game, and get out o' da bed... that's a lot of laying about, for one person....You want Audrey to do well, but that's crazy to plant ideas and start rumours, and not think that'll come back for a great big bite, right?

I can't tell if Audrey knows that Becky wanted to backdoor her, but now that Shelli's Team, Steve and Jason, won the Movie Shots Battle of the Block Competition, with very little competition from John and Da'Vonne... really, Da'Vonne just dragged John around the competition, sooo, was a pretty easy way for John to not have to try to throw the competition, since Da' seemed determined to do it her way - and John would have to feel very comfortable about not being voted out, to not try at all... hope that works out for him, in the long run, since John (Johnny Mac) seems like a good guy.  Maybe he has huge student loans from Dentistry School?  I do like it better when someone wins Big Brother, or any other competition where there's a lot of money involved, like Survivor or The Amazing Race...

And speaking of The Amazing Race, that was pretty shocking to hear Jeff say that Jackie had punched him in the face, on The Amazing Race - it didn't seem like he was exaggerating - it's never okay, for any reason, to hit someone else, male or female.  Why would Jeff and Jackie have been put on Big Brother, together, if she actually did hit him?  The reverse would never happen, soo, that does send a message that it's tolerable when the roles are reversed, and it's never okay. Is reprehensible, either way.  You gots'ta keep your hands to yourself, right? I don't want to look at Jackie, now, I don't tolerate that kind of crap. And she seems like an idiot - a good dancer, but not the brightest bulb on the Vegas Strip... lol!

Well, here's something interesting.. Jackie and Jeff are both spending a lot of time in the HOH room with Shelli and Clay... hmm... is so hard to follow their relationship - are they together or not? But Jeff is very flirty with Liz, and I don't really see Jeff talking much to Jackie, and Jackie is virtually silent... well, is something to watch, but if they are really a couple in real life, they're doing a good job of hiding that from the BB house, since no one has even mentioned getting rid of either of them...

Clay seems soo into Shelli, but is hard to say if that's a mutual relationship, but I do have to laugh when Shelli has to constantly correct Clay - Mom much? bah'hahahaha!  Even if you ARE older than the other person, that doesn't automatically put you in the role of 'corrector' - hahaha!  Oh, man, that makes me laugh...

But Clay is some very nice little eye candy, fer sures - lol! It makes me laugh when Jeff is up in Shelli's HOH room, just the two of them, Jeff and Clay, and Jeff keeps saying to Clay, "Just you and me, right to the very end, Final Two, you and me", and Clay is all like, "Uh, yeah, well, let's just put that on hold, Shelli.... let's just wait..."  Is pretty funny... Clay;s not ready to be tied down, just yet... except to Shelli...

Shelli, "Call me Shelli - I do"...bah'hahahaha!  Oh, Third Person, that's always funny - and crazy... lol!

I would love to see a bigger Showmance with Becky and John, especially after Becky told her story, tonight, of being hit in the face with a train... and then being able to make her own joke about being a trainwreck... wow, good for her to heal like that, mentally and physically.

Ooh, and speaking of Trainwreck, I can't wait to see Amy Schumer's new movie, Trainwreck - looks really funny, and I love Amy Schumer - so funny!  If you haven't see The Amy Schumer Show (hmmm, think that's what it's called - lol!), Google Amy Schumer's Twelve Angry Men - brilliant.  If you happen to have already seen Twelve Angry Men, all the better - maybe watch that movie, first, then you'll appreciate every nuance in Amy Schumer's version of Twelve Angry Men - so smart, and you'll love all the actors, too.

I can't wait for Kathy Griffin's calls into the Big Brother House - and see who has the #LastLaugh, and what exactly that entails... you never know what the Twist will be in Big Brother, but we do all know to expect the unexpected, right? hahaha!

Here's the thing about the Last Laugh... and the potential tension between Shelli and Becky, once Becky realizes that Shelli really wants Da'Vonne out the game, and her target isn't Audrey, any more... but if the #LastLaugh goes down, and it reverses the vote.... yikes... that's a real possibility, then Da' will be furious, and will get Shelli and Clay out, asap - and Audrey - Da's list is getting longer and longer - lol!  Like on that movie, let me think of it, with Steve Martin, but is a remake from an oldie but a goodie - dammmit, I can see the actors in my mind, can't quite put a name to it... Jack... hmm, let me think about that... Steve Martin is mad at everyone, keeps putting them on his list - Jack Lemming?  Hmmm... I gotta go look that up - lol! Be right back! lol!

Oooh, me was soo close - it was Jack Lemmon - check out both movies, they're both hilarious - lists have never made you laugh that hard - lol!

The Out of Towners - soo funny!  See if you can find it on Netflix... "The remake of the 1970 Neil Simon comedy follows the adventures of a couple, Henry and Nancy Clark, vexed by misfortune while in New York City for a job interview." IMDb

These girls are doing an amazing job of pulling off the Twin Twist - ah'mazing!  Liz and Julia - wow, they are gonna wow the whole house, when they find out! lol!

Okay, 'til next time!  Hope you're haivng lots of fun, and no slop, in your own House! lol!  Ailsa : )

Mmmm, pie! lol! I particularly love a slice o' dat Internet Pie!

#LifeHack: Cool Down Your Brownies with a Lid - and keep any wee beasties off yer brownies (noo, not the kids...hahaha!)

Oh, little Brownie Joke for you... I just said it to mah' son... "What did the brownie say when he came out the oven?  I'm baked."  Buh'dum-bum! haha!  Made us laugh - is prolly an old joke, but came over me, jus' now - hahaha!

So I just took the Brownies out the oven, and I want to cool them down and keep the moisture in the brownies, since you always want your brownies to be lovely and chewy and moist, right?

Anyway usually I just cover my baking with a little kitchen towel, a dishcloth, to keep any wee beasties, flies, fruit flies, that sort of thing... it's so hot here, these days, we're in a heat wave, and we don't have screens on our doors or windows, since we hardly have any little flying insects or anything (lots of lovely birds, though - lol!), so our doors and windows are all open.. anyway, we're the only ones who should have access to the delicious brownies, right? hahaha!

I thought this was brilliant, since there's the hole in the lid of a pot, anyway, and that'll let the steam come out, no bother, and protect our precious brownies, until the brownies are cool enough to frost, then I'll pop them in the fridge - unless my son wants to have warm brownies with ice cream - will go ask mah' boy what he wants - lol!

If you've taken your brownies out a little bit early (not a lot early...lol!), but you still want some heat to make it's way to your lovely brownies, you can set them on the back right hand burner, and the chances are very high that some heat will come up from the oven, even after you've turned the oven off...

I'll add the pics of the Brownies when they're all done! I mean, ready to put on a plate - lol!

 Yum, right?  Yum!!

This really makes me laugh - is a little silly, but a fun way to take you' food pics - just hold your plate with something lovely to eat on it, up against something pretty in your house - some flowers, a calendar (that's the Butchart Gardens calendar in these next two shots) - just makes me laugh! lol!

Oh, you know what?  I think the next time I make Brownies, I'll definitely use the Parchment Paper - I used Parchment Paper the last time I made Banana Bread, and it made it soo easy to take out of the pan, and for cutting the Banana Bread... when you use the Parchment Paper, which you can pick up at most Dollar Stores - is cheaper there than anywhere else, and is the same product... anyway, you can just lift your baking right out of the pan, wait 'til it cools, then cut into squares or slices, and you won't have any hassle with trying to get nice and neat pieces  : )

Happy Eating!! Ailsa : )

Mmmm, pie! lol! I particularly love a slice o' dat Internet Pie!
