LUCKY Friday the 13th! lol! #LuckyDay! : ) #FridayThe13th #GoodLuck! #Vegas, Baby!

I get a wee something from sales through my ads, so thank you so much for going through me! You're the Bestiest! And the Luckiest!

Lucky Friday the 13th!

Don't let those naysayers get to you, today - Make Your Own Luck, Every Day, Baby! : )

I looove Wishes!

I wish for a Donut! haha! Homer, Baby! Some Wishes are easier to come by than others - hahaha!

Aaawww, don't let those naysayers ruin your LUCKY Friday the 13th!  Those bashtards!  I woke up to what is usually one of my favorite radio shows, this morning, only to be greeted with a series of scary Friday the 13th crap - ugh, who wants to wake up to that??  Not me!  Really started my day off on the wrong foot. On the wrong side of the bed. Lucky I didn't clip my nails, today... ugh!!  Are you as steeped in superstitions as I am?? Bleh!  Most of my superstitions come from my Mother - and I have taken great care not to pass them down to my own children - they can go ahead and cut their nails on a Friday if they want to - and I'm pretty sure Jesus is gonna be cool with it.. it's the Big Things Jesus says no to! lol!  Cutting your nails on a Friday, and then add Friday the 13th to that - yeah, will prolly be okay! hahaha! (But, errr, aah, I'm not gonna chance it, I'll trim my nails, tomorrow! hahahaha!)

And I happen to LOVE Black Cats - they're so cute, and what a bad rap for these furry little guys - they didn't choose to be black.... sound familiar?? Ugh! I think it's lucky when a black cat walks in front of you - why not? Can't you choose what to believe, yourself, or are you like me, and actively fight all the old notions, all the old superstitions and all the old stereotypes... it's a constant battle for me to switch up my thinking - I canny stand all that old crap.  There are some terrible, terrible old beliefs and sayings, so when people are all, 'oh, the good old days', bleh!  Noo, not the 'good old days' - maybe if you were a wealthy white man, and that's about it, everyone else was suffering along, trying to survive all the discrimination, all the put-downs, the second-class nature of being anything but a wealthy white man.... ugh!  But I digress, as I may  tend to do...

So Friday the 13th is a LUCKY day for me, because I got my divorce on a Friday the 13th, in 1995, and, man, was that ever a hard to divorce to come by - Thank God the courts have changed, now, and I hope to God people can't still be dragged through the horrible process of divorce that they used to be able to do - got an abusive spouse? You can leave, but they can keep you in the court battle for soo many years, is insane. They need to make sure that can't happen, any more, and I really hope there have been some good changes made to the court system since then. You shouldn't be punished for years and years in an archaic court system for marrying a lunatic when you were in your 20's.... you should almost get a Free Pass from those crappy Starter Marriages... but, anyway, so that's the day that Friday the 13th became a super-lucky day for me - the day my divorce came though... Thank God for that. Is bizarre to think that the person you once married suddenly becomes your worst enemy - crazy. I mean, those ex's are CRAZY, not like crazy like a fox, that is not fair to all the cure foxes - just Crazy, like, full-out Crazy.... yuck!  Who needs it?  No one. I say, Lose the Crazy, your life will be sooo much better! lol!

So don't walk under a ladder, because it's soo stooopid to walk under a ladder - maybe they HAD to say it was unlucky to walk under a ladder because otherwise, too many idiots were getting boinked on the head from their own insane stupidity... hahaha!  Makes me laugh, thinking of some total mowon, duh, duh, duh, uuuhh, think I'll walk right under this ladder, see what happens... most 'unlucky' things are common sense - like the don't step on a crack, you'll break your mother's back - man, do you know the lengths I used to go as a kid to never, ever, step on a crack?? hahahaah! I must'a looked like a looney, trying to miss all the cracks, except that everyone I knew was doing the same thing - we were all steeped in those crazy old superstitions! hahaha!

Okay, Happy Friday the 13th!  Go buy a lottery ticket, see if you can Get Lucky, today! Change it all up, make your OWN superstitions, but make lovely, nice superstitions, step on a crack, win a million bucks - why couldn't I have learned THAT one??? hahaha!  I wouldda been steeping on EVERY crack, to win a million bucks! hahahaha! Have fun, today!  And have a super-lucky day!!

See you soon! : ) Ailsa xoxo!

Tart Cherry Juice and Capsules - A Miracle Cure?? #MiracleCure, #HealthyLiving, #Vitamins

 Yum, Cherries!!

This link will take you straight to the page with the Tumeric and Tart Cherry Capsules - wow, what a Health Combo THAT is, right? I was just thinking, could you dissolve your Tart Cherry Capsule in a cup of tea? That would work, right?  Hmmm... I got some thinkin' to do, some experimenting to try! lol!

I have been hearing a lot about Tart Cherry Juice and Tart Cherry Capsules for a while, now, but lately there's been a real surge in interest paid to the delicious Tart Cherries.  Usually, and this is just me (and, oh, maybe thousands of other peoples, just like me! lol!) who get their main source of  cherries from Cherry Cheesecake! hahaha!  For real, there's a Cherry Cheesecake in my fridge, right now! lol!  And I love to buy cherries when they're in season by the bagful, but what do you do to sustain the benefits of Tart Cherries, year round?  That's why I'm very interested in the properties of the Tart Cherry Juice, and the Tart Cherry Capsules.

Free Shipping on All VitaminWorld.com! Here you go - this will take you straight to the page with the Tart Cherry Capsules.

I'm not really a vitamin girl, although, I loove the new (or, new-to-me! lol!) gummy vitamins, the ones with real sugar. Oh, here's a quick aside - why on earth do they take a healthy little vitamin, especially the gummy vitamins, and fill it full of aspartame? Ugh. Makes me so mad. I have a reaction to aspartame, and not just on my tongue, neither! haha!  No, it makes me very uncomfortable that so many people are consuming so much fake sugar, which could cause future health problems, instead of just having a wee bit of real sugar. I mean, seriously, how much real sugar could possibly be in a tiny vitamin??  Puh-lease, if someone is worried it's the real sugar in their vitamins that are making them fat, uh, noooo, maybe its the chocolate bar chaser?? hahaha! (Yes, this IS something I would think about, because a chocolate bar chaser sounds delicious to me! hahaha!)

Anyway, I can't stand when a product that is supposed to promote good health, like the gummy vitamins and my favorite chewable Vitamin C, have horrible aspartame in them. I am happier that the vitamin companies are now offering vitamins with 'real sugar', as if stooopid aspartame has always been in vitamins, and now they're just starting to look at a market for 'real sugar' - ugh! Very annoying. Well, I see I'm off on a tangent, and here I'm supposed to be talking about the benefits of Tart Cherries! lol!

Over the past few months the health benefits of tart cherry juice and tart cherry capsules have been all over the internet, television and radio. In fact, Dr. Oz. did an entire show on the joint pain fighting ability of this ruby, red superfruit. I think you're gonna enjoy this in-depth video the benefits of tart cherries.

I did find a great source of information about the health benefits of Tart Cherries -

What do you think? If you've heard some great stories about Tart Cherry Juice, or Tart Cherry Capsules, share it with us!  I loove hearing great success stories, and I love any kind of natural healing product - that's my jam, so-to-speak! hahaha!  Hope you're having a Great Healthy Day!  Ailsa  : )

Well, I don't know what happened to the Tart Cherry links - hmmm, will need to go check that out... but here's a good link to Vitamin Supplements with Berries - Cranberrry and Tart Cherries, sooo, that's very good for you! lol!

#Weddings #FourWeddings, #Canada - My fave 'new' show! lol! #WeddingDresses Oh, man, #SoFunny! #Wine Not? lol! Yes, Please! : )

Save $120 on 12 World Class Wines for $69.99, Plus Free Corkscrew Set!

If there's ONE THING we can take away from Four Weddings, it's, Always Have Great Mashed Potatoes At Your Wedding - hahaha! Yum, Mashed Potatoes! lol!

Omg, I loove this little show!  It is hilarious, four girls, four brides, all up against one another, in a competition to win a fancy holiday, to whichever bride gets the highest points, so you will looove how low each bride scores the other brides, no matter how fantastic their weddings are - is hilarious!  They'll walk into this incredible banquet hall, say, 'Mmm, it's okay, I guess. I thought we wouldda got a brick o' gold, or something...'  Anything less, and these lovely lady brides just aren't happy. My favourite kinda girls - unhappy girls, complainy girls - they're the best! I love their little complaints... 'hey, is my meat supposed to be pink??? I've never seen pink meat, before...' Love it! 'Princess Dress???  Pffhhh, more like a MERMAID Dress....' Oh, man, keep complainin' little brides, it's soo funny!

I think I love the Four Weddings Canada the best, because the brides are, well, let's just say, 'perfection' is not on the program - no need to lose a hundred pounds before the big day, just show up as you are, we'll film the whole thing - is the BEST!!  Everyone finds love, restores your faith in humanity, restores your faith that people still get married... was becoming a little passe there for a while, right? I know when I was growing up (almost done!! But I'm barely 50, so no big rush....lol!), the pressure was on to get married from a very early age... and someone kept calling me an old maid - when I was 23, because I wasn't married, yet. Yep, that kind of lovely pressure. Nothing like it to force a girl down the aisle. And that always works, forced marriage. Always a dream come true. Find a groom, get married. Bleh!!

But I love marriage - its a great place to be! lol!  You just need the right partners, and you're all set, but, man, oh, man, do I ever love the brides who love themselves, just the way they are (I say this with great love and affection, since me luvs an XXL for mah'self, too, baby!)... they are, by far, my favourite. I just love when they choose THE biggest wedding dresses - they've got an idea in their minds, and nothin's gonna stop them on their big day - very refreshing. Super-delightful. I'd give it, oh, a 4.5. hahaha!  Nooo, I'll give all their weddings a 10, because I love all the brides, equally!  I wish the one bride could win the big vacation, but I would love it if the other three brides got a little sumthin' sumthin', too, like a weekend getaway to a lovely resort.  Wouldn't that be nice? Then everyone wins, just one more than the others, and that's why the 5.5 for a spectacular venue! hahaha!

I love when the brides have a million courses for their meals - now, who eats that much food?  Oh, wait, I think that brings me back to my favourite brides, the ones who clearly looove a buffet, but, for real, why so many courses at a wedding??  Soup, Salad, Pasta, Another Pasta, Chicken, Steak, Roast Beef, Fish, Maybe a Vegetarian Meal, Dessert.... after Dessert, after Dessert... now, I love Dessert as much as the next guy, maybe even more, but come on, ladies, that seems excessive.. oh, and I totally forgot about the Appetizers before the dinner... and the 'After Dinner'... that is just a whole lot of food. And it seems like hardly anyone really seems to enjoy it - what's that all about?

One of my favourite bits of Four Weddings Canada is the entertainment section of the wedding - hilarious!  A contortionist on your Big Day! hahahaaha!  That stuff breaks me up - oh, and I love when the bride does a 'special dance' for her new husband... aaaawkward! Super-creeepy... save it for later, honey!  Yick!  Right up there with the garter search - eeeewwww... what happened to a lovely wedding, all nice people? Those days are gone, forever, you say? haha!

The cash bar/ open bar debate is always great - tricky to decide what to do. Sometimes (okay, about 100% of the time! lol!) an open bar will lead to a lot of drunken people at your wedding, maybe even including the bride and groom, and what happens when you get a lot of drunken people at an already fully emotionally loaded event? They fight!  But you hardly ever get to see any really good fighting at the weddings - and you know it's there... occasionally, you'll get lucky and get to see a bride all mad at her mother for not making the caterers come out faster... 'You're ruining my whole day' speeches - oooh, I love those! lol! That's when a little of the Bridezilla comes out...

I am shocked at how much money is spent on weddings, though.  Man, that's too much money for one day - so many of the brides-to-be are spending between $30,000 - $100,000.  Nooo, don't do it. Iz crazy!  Use your money for a down payment on your new home. Not just for me, but for your own sanity... even if it's the parents' money, geez, that's a whole lot of money that could be better spent, elsewhere, right? No??  Uh-oh, I think I might be a little bit of a cynic, here... and it's kind of old-fashioned to have everyone your parents have ever known to a wedding of their children. I don't know - is that old-world, or is that still happening? Maybe that puts too much pressure on the bride and groom.... who knows?  To each his own, right?  But, man, am I ever glad they're filming these fantastic weddings in Canada - the US verion of Four Weddings is good, too, but I've only seen the episodes where all the brides are perfect, and, for some reason, that's not nearly as entertaining for me as the 'I'm great the way I am' brides - seems very open and supportive of all sorts of peoples, right?? lol!

I watch Four Weddings Canada on Slice - you might be able to find it on slice, too : )

Hugs, and Happy Weddings!!!  Or Happy Wedding WATCHING.... Ailsa xox!

How gorgeous are these Wedding Cakes? I had a gooorgeous Wedding Cake on my First Marriage, and no wedding cake for my second, and, frankly, I never really forgave my second husband for not letting me get a wedding cake - key words ''not letting me get' - seriously, I should've just said, this is what we're getting, and maybe that marriage would've been much better, where one person doesn't assume they always have the upper hand - that hardly ever works out, so, best to start on a really good, equal relationship, right? You'll both be happy! : )
