Apple Cake - Or, Really, More Like Apple Brownies, the second day (there might not be a third day, they're so good - haha!) #Fruit #Brownies #apples #cake #brownies

Apple Cake - or, Apple Brownies - Ah'Yum!

These are amazing - they have the texture of a Brownie, but you can take the base, add 2 cups of any fruit you like, will be delicious! AND, I'm gonna make them with chocolate chips, the next time, and some chopped walnuts, maybe toss in some Cocoa Powder (now we have to be all fancy and call it cacao - whatevs, is Cocoa Powder to me - haha!), make ACTUAL Brownies - lol! Ah'Yum!

Follow me on Twitter @AilsaForshaw

So this was an accidental recipe, that came outta mah' head... I had soo many extra apples, and we were all Apple Crumble'd out, so-to-speak - we had just finished our last batch of Apple Crumble, which we loove, is fantastic, but you know when you just want something a little different?

Well, that was us, last night, and my son was out at work, so I was all on my own to cook - is waaay more fun to cook, together, since Aidan chops up the apples for me, and gets everything out, puts everything away - I highly recommend having good children - well worth it - haha!

Anyway, so I had all these apples, since they were finally a good price at the store, the last time we were out shopping... and, little aside, here - there is no good reason the gov't can ensure that all produce, all fruits and veggies, meat and dairy, should all be VERY affordable - that's well within their realm of ability, and they choose not to make all the basic healthy food unaffordable, for far too many people, so, let's work toward affordable fresh food, in the future, shall we? And if we can put the pressure on stores to offer food that someone has decided, for no good reason, it cannot be sold, that needs to be made available for people to choose for themselves, at a heavily discounted rate, if they would like to buy it - you can always cook with older produce, and we can all be healthier and happier, with more money in our pockets - wouldn't that be a nice thing for the governments to do for all of us?

Apple Cake, or, Apple Brownies - so good when they're cold!

Apples - Whatever Apples you have left : )

1 Can Evaporated Milk, or 1 cup any type of milk

1 Cup Brown Sugar

OR

Just chop up the apples and cook them in a pan, or, just put them straight in the batter - play around with it, see if it changes the flavor or texture - this is a Use-It-Up Recipe : )

However you want to prepare the apples, that's your choice, baby!

If you want to use any other kind of fruit, like this delicious Blueberry/Raspberry/Blackberry Frozen Fruit mix - just use 2 cups of fruit, and skip the cinnamon : )

For the Cake Mix Batter:(You can add 2 cups of any fruit to this)

In a small microwave safe bowl, mix...

1/2 cup, or 1 brick, Margarine (pop in the microwave, melt it, let it cool)

1 Capful of Vanilla

1 Egg

(Beat together with a fork - no need for anything fancy : )

In the pan, 9" X 13", mix with your fingers:

1 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 tsp Salt

1 Cup Sugar

1 Cup Flour

1 Tablespoon Cinnamon (I just pour it in, so, about that amount - lol!)

The batter will pull away from the edge, is a little funny, so I just poured all the apples in the pan right onto the batter, and mixed them all together (altogether, now! lol!) : )

#BakingTip: Sprinkle the whole thing with a little bit of sugar, that will give any Fruit Bread a nice crisp topping : )

Bake at 350 for about 40 - 50 minutes - you can just turn the oven off, let it sit in there, if you like, then pop it in the fridge - will last for days, if it isn't eaten right up on the first day - haha!
These are the Fruit Brownies on their way into the oven, and then cut, after being in the fridge to cool for a wee bit : ) Deeeelicious! You'll love them, your family will love them, and your friends will all love them! Yay! Great Success!

I used a little light caramel sauce for ice cream, last night, after it came out the oven and was still warm, but, I think we both loved it even more, cold, and just cut into squares - so good!

For company, you could serve it warm with ice cream and a little caramel sauce, or a wee bit of whipped cream - yum! It's very nice, and healthy, too! And now you didn't waste your apples! Yahoo! Good for you!! And me!! lol!

Apple Cake served warm with Caramel Sauce

Even better, after a night in the fridge, Apple Cake has now become Apple Brownies, and they are soo delicious! Ah'Yum!

So good, you can just stand in the kitchen with a fork and the pan - will be okay! lol!

Yum! You could serve the Apple Cake with Ice Cream or Whipped Cream - deeelish!

This is optional, and I was playing around with marrying the two recipes together, to come up with this new-to-us Apple Cake... This is part of the base I use when I'm making my Scottish Tablet, or Southern Pralines, my own version...

And what I normally do with my apples in my fave Apple Crumble Recipe...

So I poured 1 cup of Brown Sugar in the large pan, skillet, whatever you like to call your pans - lol! Then I poured in a can of Evaporated Milk, stirred that around, let it boil, turned it back down to 7, then started chopping the apples, tossed them in as I went along, just l keep stirring the apples in, then they'll cook nicely, be covered in toffee - but not a toffee that's hard on your teeth - no worries!

Don't worry about this part, if you don't feel like doing it - you can cook the apples down in water or juice, if you like, or not at all - it's entirely up to you, just play around with the recipe, see what works for your timeline, and what you happen to have in the house : )

Yay!! What a relief! It worked!

#PlayWithYourFood!

It's extra fun when you have a good idea, and then it totally works out - yippee!! ; )

So I just mixed the batter right in the 9 X 13 pan - was just easier that way, and was so surprised that the batter came away from the sides like that, so I just mixed all of the apples right into the batter, crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best - lol! And it all worked out - is soo delicious!

1 can of Evaporated Milk in with 1 cup of Brown Sugar... add another cup of white sugar, and you're on your way to some lovely caramels! lol!

Those are the 'leftover' apples that started the whole thing - Waste Not Want Not, right?

I never want to waste anything - and is fun to make something out of, sorta, nothing - or whatever you happen to already have in your kitchen : ) Yum!

It's always waaay easier to just melt your margarine in the microwave, first, 60 seconds for 1 brick, let it cool, add in your vanilla and however many eggs your recipe calls for - no need to struggle with 'cream the butter', any more - that's old world thinking, and unnecessary for good baking - no worries! You'll bake more if it isn't such a giant hassle, and if it doesn't take up too much of your time, right? Uh'Yep! ; )

And I use my fingers to mix the dry ingredients... if you think you'll make this more than once, go ahead and make an extra batch, or two, while you have everything out on the counter, then the next time you bake it, it'll be soo fastie schast, you'll love it! I just label those baggies in the fridge, makes life so much easier : )

See? Is soo great to just yoink, right out the fridge, add the liquid ingredients and the oatmeal, and chocolate chips to the second half of the batter, when we make our fave Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Cookies - they are ah'mazing! And super healthy, so, no guilt - yahoo!

Oh, man, these are so good - like Apple Brownies - what an amazing texture! Yum!

Add a little sprinkle of sugar with your fingertips - just give it a good cover with the sugar - not too little, not too much - juuust right - will create a natural crust for your Fruit Bread - or any cake - is a nice little baking trick!

Just mix it all together in the pan, sprinkle with a little sugar, pop in the oven for baby and me - at 350 Degrees, for about 45 minutes, depending on where you live and your oven : )

Ah'Yum! And I put those roses around my dress, too - lol! It attaches on either side of the top of my dress straps : )

And I do the same with this little row of flowers - and that's one of my many, many lovely wee trees that I love to make - I a' Artist! ; )

The apples in the pan - I just kept adding them in - don't worry about how many apples you have - I was just using up all the rest of the apples before they went bad - nothing worse than a Bad Apple - hahaha!

My fave Apple Crumble Recipe - and you can lose a lot of weight with this one, too - yahoo!

You could do this with your apples - and, note that I never peel any of my apples or potatoes - why lose out on the nutrients and fiber? That's craaazy - and, fibre, for all my Canadian friends - lol!

Yum! Apple Crumble!! Delicious hot or cold - so good good - I lost 35 pounds with this!

I always cook with Parchment Paper - love it, will change your life, if you haven't tried it, yet - and I take any treat I've made, and slide it right off the pan, on the parchment paper, and cut it into little squares - just the right size! Makes hundreds of lovely wee treats! Yay!!

Scottish Tablet or Southern Pralines, and if you don't cook it as long, Caramels - and you can even dip your apples in it for Caramel Apples!  #Recipe

Happy Eating, my little cooking friends!

Rowing Machines
There you go - now you know my favorite kind of Rowing Machine - the Rowing Machine with the bar to hold onto is the most efficient one, and I like the Rowing Machine with the wheel that spins around while you're rowing - and the extra comfy seat makes a big difference, too, since your goal is to row up to 30 minutes, so you want to be comfy!

Remember, start slowly, you can work up to the 30 minutes a day -

Rowing is fun!

Rowing is one of the most effective overall body trimming exercises! Yay!!

Rowing is great for any age, any size, gentle on your joints - yippee!

And speaking of your joints, in case you ever get any foot pain, heel pain, or pain on the top of your foot...

Oh Heel No

So yesterday my heel was so sore, after a lovely walk in the park, & again when I woke up

How to Heal Your Heel 👣🦶☺️

Arms stretched forward, lean against a counter

Slowly roll up onto your toes, roll all the way back onto your heels #repeat

#HeelPain #Bursitis
#PlantarFasciitis

Oh, and, bizarrely enough, a high heel wedge shoe worked for me - was a real life saver - I was able to walk, no problem, with my high heel wedges, so that was a little funny, especially around the house! lol!

So for me who are suffering with Plantar Fasciitis, or sever heel pain, try Cowboy Boots, right? Cowboy Boots have a bit of a heel, so that might really work!

And I went out and got a bunch of new running shoes - the fancy ones with the mesh top - cute, and they sort of worked, and now it's all better, Thank God! Man, that was worrisome!

And I had to stop rowing for about a month, but I'm back to rowing, now - yahoo!

Mah' numbers iz very good on da Twitter - makes me just want to be on da Twitter, all da times! haha!

Follow me on Twitter @AilsaForshaw : )
Oh, and we went into the liquor store, across from da Wallymart, and picked up some regular Vodka, turns out, it's made in Banff - who knew? Me only read the part that said 'cold pressed', or something like that, that me thought sounded extra-healthy for mah' skin! hahaha!

Anyway, came home, poured some of the vodka in another one of the little jar thingee of OXY facial cleanser pads, that we never use - then me poured straight up Vodka into an old 'pill bottle', that me a'doctored up, and wrote VODKA on the top - haha!

22% OFF Elyx Vodka $38.99

So me has now covered mah'self in Gin, and now in da Vodka, and, I think the Vodka is phenomenal - will see what the results are in a week, but already my skin looks amazing - and feels amazing, you know when you put cream on your face? Is sooo smooth, is miraculous! Yahoo!! Thanks, Gin, and now Vodka!!

If you have some Vodka in your bar, for sure puts some in you' baffroom, tries it - and tries it on all da skin taggies, too - anything bumpy or a'lumpy on' you' skin... and my chest seems so much smoother, too , and neck - was like, little tiny bumps, so upsetting, doctor just said said it was nothing, but me no wants to be lumpy 'n bumpy! lol!

Oh, and me had on mah' newly doctored up blue dress - I love the colour, but that dress was a'frummmmpy, so me never wore it, ever, so me had tried it on, yet again, thought I would cut the bottom ruffle, see if that made it look better, but then I realized, it was the full top section that made it look too bulky, so, me gots out mah' scissors, carefully cut all around the top section, hiked da dress up, and used the top bit I had cut off as a little 'cover, you know? Worked like a charm, and is soft and flowy - and me yuv'a da dress, now - yippee!!
Just hike that long skirt right up - whammo, you've got yourself a new dress! lol!

Yay!! All my hard work is paying off! Yippee! I don't have a set of scales in the house - I am fundamentally opposed to weighing myself - or yourself - all the time, and if I had them in the house, that number would easily haunt me alllll day, so, no thankee! I can just judge by pictures, so, that's good! My son took this pic of me, tonight, after we were out and about, and I wanted to quickly show you how to transform one dress into hundreds of dresses - I'm all about the Transformation, Baby!

Oh, and here's the trick to transform your dresses, or, if you know someone with dresses - would work with tops, too, I'm sure, I just really like wearing dresses! : )

Take any scarf, or cut a strip of material, 14 inches by 60 inches or longer, do a little fold at the top, tie it around you - tuck it up at the bottom, depending on the look and the fabric - so easy! and is so pretty1 I love it! What a great idea! I just thought of it, the other day! #GreatMinds! lol! https://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.com/2016/04/scissor-happy-or-how-to-cut-up-your-old.html

So, my whole focus right now is getting myself the healthiest (and slimmest!) body I can figure out how to get - I know HOW to get my body into great shape, and now that I have my new-to-me Rowing Machine, that's gonna propel me even faster into da body me really wants to have! lol!

And, I want YOU to have your Best Body (and mind!) (and Life!) that you can possibly have, too, so I'll take you along on my little journey : )

And here's my VERY latest discovery... I am constantly experimenting on mah'self, see what works the best, then I can tell YOU all my secrets to great health, wealth and happiness, baby-cakes!

Well, I don't know why I didn't think of this, before, but I tried it, this morning, and then I just tried it with my New and Improved Honey and Baking Soda Mix (I added 1 heaping tablespoon of Cinnamon to the mix - tastes waaay better, and is really healthy for you, too)...

So I added 2 capfuls of Lemon Juice to 1/3 of a cup of boiling water (turns out, 35 seconds in the microwave) in a coffee mug, then added about a 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of the first mix:

1 Tablespoon Baking Soda

1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

3 Tablespoons Honey

That's your new base, mixed it well, and just drank it with a Water chaser - lots of water, every day!

AND, if you feel like you have something coming on, your throat is sore, or if you have a cold, or anything like that, pour 1/3 cup of cold water into a microwaveable cup, put in 2 - 4 Aspirin, let it dissolve (the Aspirin doesn't seem to want to dissolve quickly in the hot water, so, you know, just dissolve your Aspirin, first, in the cold water, and remember, no Aspirin for the under 25 crowd, FYI : )

THEN, microwave the 1/3 cup water with the dissolved Aspirin in it, for 35 seconds, stir in about a half to 1 tsp of your cinnamon and honey mix, then add 2 capfuls of lemon juice - stir and enjoy - it's really tasty - and then have the 2nd mixture with the baking soda, if you really need to heal your body, even more : )

You will, at this point, have 2 containers, one with the cinnamon and honey, and you can take that, straight up, for a sore throat, too, and the second bowl of baking soda mixed with cinnamon, and add your honey to that...

Take a sip of your Lemon Drink and put a half teaspoon of the second mix in your mouth at the same time - the lemon juice will activate the baking soda, will make it all fizzy - don't worry, it'll all be fine! Have it with lots of water, and I like it with a nice cup of tea, too : )

THEN, I followed that with just the Honey and Cinnamon mix, which is delicious, you can just have that on its own, is good for a sore throat, a cold, nice to freshen your breath, and it's just generally healthy, but, this is my new fave thing - I added TWO cap fulls of Lemon Juice, about a half teaspoon of the Honey and Cinnamon mix, and just a wee bit of Boiling Water, gave it a good stir, is lovely - you'll really enjoy it, and it's packed with anti-oxidants, and all sorts of wonderful health benefits - Yahoo! And then more water and always more tea! lol! Ah'Yum!

Remember that when you add Boiling Water to anything with Baking Soda in it, it'll froth right up, but you can stir it down, then drink it, unless you looove the froth - lol! Like it's cold outside, and you like things a little Frothy, like the Snowman ; )

Quick Update: Here's my latest discovery -
Honey mixed with Baking Soda

I'm taking about 1/8th to 1/2 a teaspoon of the Honey and Baking Soda mixture a day, I am amazed at what is happening with my skin - is cheap, and works like crazy - I was just trying it for Optimum Health, but, it's crazy, who would have thought it would have such a big effect on my skin? And your skin, too! Lumps 'n Bumps, you know, stuff that seems to just arrive on your skin, as you get older... they're all disappearing - what a miracle! Yahoo!

AND, the Baking Soda and Honey mixture seems to act as an Appetite Suppressant, too, sooo... slimmer AND with Great Skin? Sign me up! haha!

(You're just stirring 3 tablespoons of Honey into 1 tablespoon of Baking Soda - I heated up the first batch, but when I finally run out of this one - and, it seems like it's gonna last, forever - haha - I'll try the next batch without heating it up, see if it tastes better, but, is not the worst thing in the world, and, it really works like a charm! Yay!!)

So this is my new thing - I just read about this, and I figured it looks like it can't hurt, and it might really help, so, why not give it a wee go, right? If it's safe enough, 'n all...

1 Tablespoon of Baking Soda

3 Tablespoons of Honey

(Take 1/2 teaspoon a day... see what happens : )

I mixed those two simple ingredients in a wee bowl - I heated it, as per the sort of instructions, then decided that was crazy, took it right out the microwave - so, the next time I make it, I'll just mix it together normally, pop it in the fridge, covered, o' course...
Oh, and you will want to drink a LOT of water after you've taken a half a teaspoon of this - yikes!

Plus, my #1010Diet is a really good idea, anyway... anyhoooo... ; )

That's 19 SECONDS in the microwave - so, no bueno, skip that part! lol!

And, it smelled like hell when I went to stir it down - was kind of like a light foam (I guess all foam is pretty light - haha!)...

So, don't heat it up, try it cold, first, or room temperature....

This is my main favorite remedy for any time you feel like you might be coming down with something - a sore throat, a cold, the flu - or just for a pick-me-up, or, put-me-down, if you really want a good nights sleep ; )
https://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.ca/2010/10/cold-and-flu-remedies-that-youll-really.html

Okay, so I have a half a teaspoon of the Honey and Baking Soda mixture, and a whole lot o' water - like, 2 or 3 glasses of water - mostly because I'm not completely sure what all that baking soda might do in my body, and me takes no chances - haha!

Make good friends with Water, again - lol! Just take 10 sips of water, 10 times a day, and you'll be even further along on your weightloss journey, and to having your healthiest body, ever, too!
https://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.ca/2016/05/1010diet-water-to-help-you-lose-weight.html

THEN, every day I have a delicious bowl of really hot Oatmeal Porridge - I'm Scottish, and we love our porridge - and all things Oatmeal, me believes - lol!

Hey, if a good portion of the population lives well into their 80's and 90's, there has to be something to it! : )

Oatmeal Porridge is super easy to make, it's fast, nutritious, and stays in your system all day - Oatmeal is a fantastic Energy Food - so, it's great for Weight Loss, and it's great for lowering your cholesterol, and then  when you've lost some weight, your Blood Pressure will go down - see how it's like a Domino effect? Yahoo!! We'll all be perfecto in no time! lol!

Take The Oatmeal Challenge

So when I first started my Oatmeal Challenge, I was making 3 bowls of oatmeal porridge at a time - eat one, now, save the next two for the next two days - just reheat them in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes...

Then I got to the point where I thought, man, this is a lot of Oatmeal Porridge to get through in one day - so I switched it up to dividing it up into 4 bowls of porridge - one for today, the next three for the next three days... you get the idea! ; ) Math, it's so easy! haha!

And I serve my porridge with milk - just pour in a wee bit of milk, have some oatmeal, keep pouring in more milk as you need it - and milk is supposed to get rid of 'belly fat' - ugh, me no likee that term - seems relay low-end, you know? haha! Just say we'll lose some weight, we can all get behind that phrase - lol! ; ) (Not too big a behind - hahaha!)

And then I always set a really nice table for myself - my son set out my breakfast for Mother's Day - so sweet!

But I think it's important to enjoy your food, whatever it is, and when you DO have a bowl of porridge a day, you can really just go about your day as you normally would - eat your normal food, and I think you will naturally gravitate to healthy choices, too : )

And then, finally, after I finish my bowl of porridge, I just take it to the sink, and, for some reason, this has really changed our lives - you wouldn't think so, such a little thing to do, but, it keeps the kitchen counter clean and clear, and we're a'lovin' dat! lol!

So, if it's the first day, and I've just made the porridge, I'll rinse the pot and put the squeezie (Scottish for 'dish soap' - haha!) in the pot, pour in really hot water, 3/4 of the way up, turn the water off, and just wash all the dishes from that wee pot - works like a charm, and the dishes are done before you know it, and now you're kitchen is all back to normal - AND, you'll be well on your way to weighing what you really want to weigh! Yahoo!! Yippee!!

Can it really be this easy and simple? Yup - I think so... we'll all try it and see what happens - I know I'm just on Week 8 of my Oatmeal challenge, one bowl of Oatmeal a Day, for 30 Days, but I've decided to just keep going to 16 Weeks, and see how I look and feel, then - good idea, right?

Otay, me hopes you tries it, too! : ) We'll be Weight Loss Buddies!

https://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.ca/2012/04/scottish-porridge-eat-yer-oatmeal-lose.html

Here I am! lol! I'm 55 (and a half - haha!), in this pic - will get my son to take some more pics of me, rowing, so I can show you all the different things you can do on your rowing machine : )

I want every home, every classroom, definitely every gym, and every church, to have their own rowing machines : )

#RowingMachines are THE most effective piece of exercise equipment out there - you can be any age, any size, any age - Rowing Machines are gentle on your body, easy on the joints, and will tone and build your muscle, so your whole body will get into great shape - Yahoo!!

And THEN, I just got a new-to-me Rowing Machine, and I want to encourage every body (your body! lol!) to try rowing - it's endless fun, super easy on your joints, it's THE best overall fitness routine you can do - and I love a full gym workout, don't get me wrong, but I can't find a good gym, here - there's one I like, in Esquimalt, the other side of Victoria, BC, Canada, but, with gas being so expensive, now, and the cost of a gym membership is to silly, now - Gym Memberships should be $10/month, or $100/year - sponsored by the government, to make sure the gyms make enough money to make a good profit.... then everyone can have safe and easy access to a good gym, then our healthcare costs would go way down, and people would be so much healthier and happier...and they need to drop the price of gas, is outrageous, these days...

BUT, since that's not the case, I joined the group Varage on Facebook, and they have an option for you to say what you're looking for, so I put in Rowing Machine with a Wheel, since those are the only good rowing machines - the hydraulic rowing machines don't have the same movement - if you love the hydraulic rowing machine - yahoo! That's great - but I love the old fashioned rowing machines with the wheel - they're so effective - far more effective than any other type of cardio machine..

I don't like to see people struggling to lose weight, on the treadmills and the stair masters, at the gym, or in the Aerobics classes - and I used to teach the aerobics classes - they're good for some fun, some dancing, some stretches and movement, but if you really want to change your weight and your shape, the weight lifting machines and the rowing machine are your best bet...

https://buildyourownhousebodylife.blogspot.ca/2017/06/beach-body-workout-you-know-this.html

Omg, I love my Rowing Machine soooo much!! I love it, love it, love it!

Otay, time for mah' porridge, then my rowing machine - yippee!

Oh, and now we are obsessed with our new favorite chewy and crazy-delicious Oatmeal Cookies (well, I make half the batch as regular oatmeal cookies, and the other half of Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies, and if you really want something amazing, add in some White Chocolate Chips, too - wait for them to be on sale - lol! - and some walnuts - ah'yum!

This is THE best cookie recipe, around, and it's soo easy, because I cannot be bothered with anything that doesn't work, or wastes a thing - no thankee - only good and easy for me, baby! And all that Oatmeal is super healthy for you, too, so, no need to feel guilty when you eat these deeelish cookies! You' welcome!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies! Yay!! And, Yum!! : )

See, I want you to love your life like I love my life - oh, reminds me - don't forget to add in your affirmations - that makes every day a great day! lol!

Get out there and Shine, Baby!! You know me yuvs you!! : )

Your little pal (and getting littler!), Ailsa!! xoxo!!

And you can Follow me on da Twitter @AilsaForshaw

And have a wee look around my whole blog, then pop over to my website, www.buildyourownhouse.ca  : )

Here they are! lol! I looove these sweet little Christmas Cards! So easy - my lovely daughter, Cara, came over, and this was Cara's idea - I was totally gonna cover all my cards in spakly glitter, then Cara had said, ooh, do you have any sticky gems?

Do I? lol! Me gots a million sparkly gems!

So Cara made a gorgeous Christmas card for me, then I made a million more very pretty, tastefully sparkly Christmas cards, too - so cute! So much fun!

So just get the sheets of sparkly gems from a craft shop, or the Dollar Store, stick them on wherever you like - so cute! I just love them so muches!!

Look, I even put one on my desk, right in front of me, when I'm typing - lol!

And those are some of the earrings from my new earring line - me has GOT to figure out how to take them to market (to buy a fat pig, jiggety jig? Nooo... haha!)

Merry Christmas!! xoxo!

Oh, and here's what I'm making, this year - I don't know why I never thought of this, before, but, now's a great time for a new idea, right? lol!

I happened to have some very sparkly mac-tac (remember that? lol!)

So, I peeled off the back, and gently attached it to some plain typing paper - printer paper? Whatever you call that, now - some plain paper - haha!

Cut into 3" X 1" pieces

Then I cut it into little rectangles, can be any size you like, but I made mine about 3 inches by 1 inch - if you have children who need a lot more space to write - or, anyone who needs more space to write, just make bigger pieces - it'll all be so cute and pretty!

You can write,

I Wish...

or,

I Hope...

or,

I Want...

or,

I Pray...

Whatever you like, or just leave them blank, have people fill them in, with their hopes, dreams, prayers or wishes...

Then squish them in the center, like little folds, then tie it with a little wire (I, of course, added in a sparkly bead - lol!), or some yarn, or wool, or string - whatever you have handy, then hang them on the tree! : )

Save them with your Christmas Ornaments, and you can see how your Wishes change, from year to year, too : )

Oh, and these cute little Christmas Bow Necklaces - I had the little gold bows, they're technically Christmas Ornaments, and you could string little tiny ornaments along the strand, too ! Just attach them with the wire 😉😃🤩🎀📿

Here we go again, with the Gin Soaked Raisins - I think this is a brilliant idea, and I feel like it gave me a really, really good sleep - might be all in my mind - haha! Whatevs, see what all it does for you!

It made hundreds of Gin Soaked Raisins, and last night, I just had one - tonight I might try two - Go wild! lol!

So, you're literally just gonna put some raisins in a container - I chose a honey container, since, well, you know how much honey I'm going through, now, what with my fancy new Miracle Cure, which I hope you're doing, now, too - is ah'mazing!

I just had a little bottle of Gin, and I picked up the regular raisins - the Golden Raisins are very nice, too, so, whichever you like, or have in the house : )

I put the bottle on it's side, so all the raisins would be equally saturated - and I'm not sure whether to keep them in the fridge, or not - seems like a good idea, once all the raisins have absorbed the Gin...

My son says, tonight, that I've literally just made Chewable Gin - bah'hahahaha!

Important to raise funny children, if only for your own amusement - lol! (Annnd, so they'll have a life of merriment, too - Yay!)

And it took about 24 hours for the Gin to soak right into the raisins, so, just a little bit of a wait! lol!

Gin is made from Juniper Berries, and they have all sorts of amazing Health Benefits, that's why I wanted to try this - let me know if you see any great changes, or how the Gin soaked Raisins affect you, too, please! We'll make our own little study! Thanks, Science! lol!

Ah, Cheers? Haha! Here's to Chewable Gin!! : )

Me yuv'a youse!! Ailsa xoxo!!
