Super Easy Shrimp Dinner -- you can make this delicious meal in 10 minutes : )
Ingredients:

1 package Large Shrimp, or any size you like, or whatever's on sale! lol!

2 Tbsp Butter (you can use Olive Oil, if you like, I just happen to love me butter!!)

Seasoning Salt

Parsley

Rice

French-cut Green Beans - or any veggie you like : )

This is sooo easy to make -- you can make it in about 10 minutes, and Voila, you've got a lovely, healthy meal for your whole family!

Put the rice on -- we are big fans of Minute Rice, these days... we first tried it by accident, a couple of years ago -- we had picked up the 'bag-o'rice' thing, made it in the microwave, and were hooked -- easiest rice on the planet!  But make your rice any way you like! (You can put the Shrimp on Pasta, too, if you like : )

I use frozen Shrimp, since we're nowhere near the Coast, right now... but use whatever shrimp is available to you. (Here's a wee bit of irony - now we're right on the Coast, because we moved out to Victoria, Canada, right at the southern most tip of Vancouver Island, but we still use the frozen shrimp - it's the easiest, and it's pretty tricky to find fresh seafood at a reasonable price out here - oooh, I miss the seafood in California!)

I use a non-stick large skillet, put that on high, add the butter first, or right away (or Olive Oil), rinse the shrimp and toss the shrimp in the melted butter, sprinkle with Seasoning Salt and Parsley... sooo yummy!  I throw in the Green Beans after I take the plain shrimp out for my son, since he's not crazy about Parsley OR Green Beans (lol!), and cook right in the pan... there's a lovely butter sauce that develops on it's own, is soo yummy ... pour over a bed of rice and enjoy!!

This whole dish can be made in 10 minutes... is fast, easy, nutritious and delicious -- and your kids will love it, too!
Shrimp is a very healthy food, virtually no fat and zero carbs... it's the butter I add dat da slight problemo!! hahaha! Oh, and in case you're worried about the 'cholesterol' issue that was associated with shrimp for a while, there, don't worry, shrimp has the good cholesterol, the kind of cholesterol that helps your body, so it's a lovely 'no worries' dinner your whole family will love! : )
Oh, and here's a little recipe I was thinking about while I was watching #BigBrotherAfterDark last night - lol! Now I'm trying to figure out how I could make this so it would be like Churros, for my son, who really, really misses all the delicious Churros we used to get in California - no good Mexican restaurants, up here in the North - booo!  Come on up, El Pollo Loco or Chipotle, or both!!  We would looove some delicious Mexican Food up here in Canada! : ) (Pweeease!!)

#BBHaveNots - So, it looks like the BB Have Nots have a lot more options than they used to have, right?  And you know how the HaveNots have Hawaiian Buns, this week?  I wonder if they could slice them, thick slices, fry them in a pan of a little oil, then toss in cinnamon sugar?

Man, that sounds deeelish, right?  Now me wants to try that!

(Cinnamon Sugar, in case you haven't made it, yet, is just a nice mix of , say, a couple of tablespoons of cinnamon, and maybe about a half cup of sugar - you can add more cinnamon, to taste... is a good sprinkle for all sorts of wee things! lol!)

Okay, here's some other stuff me haz been a'thinkin' about, this week - lol! Ailsa : )

And here's where you can get some REAL Hawaiian Buns! lol! By the time you're done laying out on the beach in Hawaii, you'll have some Hawaiian Buns of yer own - bah'hahahaha!
