Sweet Deals for You, baby!

What a great deal on the Entertainment Books!!

But check out THIS deal specifically for 2013 - The Entertainment Book, 2 for $28! Wow, that is a great deal!  You could get one for yourself, and one for someone else you love (I'm assuming you love yourself! lol!)... or, you could get one for your hometown, and one for a town you plan to visit over the next year - or one for each town you plan to visit over the next year - they are fantastic coupons, all the great restaurants, attractions, grocery coupons, you name it, you'll find great coupons in the Entertainment Book!

When I had the Entertainment Book when I lived in Los Angeles, there was a $5 coupon per month for Ralphs, so I'm guessing there will be grocery store coupons for your area, too, and tons and tons of coupons that were soo practical, it was fantastic!  I've always bought these Entertainment Books, and I've even bought them before I went on vacation - like if you're planning a vacation to L.A., or Vegas, or anywhere at all - they make an Entertainment Book for every city, so the coupons are specific to your area - is fantastic!  There are thousands of dollars in savings in every Entertainment book, so definitely worth picking one up, and maybe pick one up for a gift, too, if you know a nice, deserving, person who might like a wee something special!  People LOVE to save money, and it's a great way to try out new places you might not have been, on the 2 for 1 specials, and use the coupons at your favorite places, too : )

I love the Groupon Deals - we got some fantastic packages for Niagara Falls, and then local deals for restaurants that we wanted to check out - was great!

F U Mayans, for freakin' us out!! lol! : >

Well, was there a little bit of you that was soo relieved when you got up, this morning, December 22nd, 2012??? hahaha!  I think there was a huuge part of me that was relieved we're still all here, everything's intact.  Did you have a quick look out the window, make sure everyone else is okay, too? Trees still there?? Blue skies?? lol! Ugh, that makes me so mad, though, that the Mayans had us by da balls for a while, there... was scary, right??  Then all those weird things and bizarre false reports in the weeks leading up to 12-21-12?  Grrrr.... that's terrible!  What about people with weak hearts, or slightly weak minds (ruh-roh, is this where I come in??? hahahahaha!)  Oh, I jus' happy to be alive, I guess, and even easier to amuse!! haha!

Well, if there is anything good to come out of this, and I think it had a tremendous number of people caught up in it, nobody really wanting to say exactly how worried they were, but if there is something good to come out of it, I hope it is a giant change in the world, a huge shift in the direction of greater peace, love, understanding and compassion for others (and for ourselves - make peace with yourself, first, right?), since wouldn't that go further than almost anything else in living in peace?  Oh, and money, too!  Come on US Gov't, keep us off that Fiscal Cliff!!  Would be nice to know for sure that is solved - it's like one giant problem is averted, now it's time for the next giant problem to be averted, too... although, a little bit of irony that I'm hoping problems are averted - would be waaay better if all the problems were actually solved!! lol!

Oh, and you know what is terrible, too?  Those poor old Mayans, they didn't have too much to do with all the craziness around this whole 'end of the world thing'... they were just workin' away, cutting down trees, makin' an elaborate calendar - man, can you imagine how much work (and chocolate!) wouldda gone into making an end of the world Advent Calendar??  Terrible chocolate, anyway - I jus' throw my wee chocolates out, after trying to figure out what's in the picture on the wee square of crappy chocolate! One of my chocolates in my Advent Calendar, this year, had a little pair of ovaries on it - there's nothing that spells Christmas like a little pair of ovaries! hahahaha!  Maybe they were Christmas Ornaments, in the shape of ovaries!! hahahahaha!  See??  Easily amused! lol!

Okay, You, lovely YOU, go enjoy your day!  Remember to do that 'I declare' thing - seems to work! lol!  I declare I'm gonna have a great day!'  There, good enough!  Seems like a great day to go for a little greatness, right?? And all right before Christmas - good, cause I really wanted to know what's in me Christmas presents!! hahaha!  Merry Christmas, Oh Happy Day, Happy Holidays, Seasons Greetings, and all that!  Ailsa xox

Safe Driving in the Rain or Snow #DriveSafely #SafeDriving #SlowDown #Leave3Spaces #CruiseControl #SunGlasses

All Sorts of Great Deals for You! : )

I got this email from my Mum, and it's public service information, and if it saves a life or an accident of any sort, that is fantastic. Pass it along to your friends and family, or post to Twitter or Facebook. We'll just get the message out there.  The whole bit about not having your Cruise Control on when it's raining is critical.  You know how you can be driving along on a longer road trip, and you've got your car on cruise control, and all of a sudden you drive into some rain... good to know to take the car off cruise control right away, so you'll have better control of your vehicle, and lessen the possibility of hydro-planing... a safer way to drive!

Drive Safely! Ailsa xoxo

Remember to Leave 3 Spaces, between you and the car ahead of you, be mindful of the cars behind you, if they're getting too close, especially when you plan to turn...

Slow Down : )

Headlights On (I always put my headlights on, is just a good safety practice : )

And.... I highlighted the tips, if you're in a hurry! : )

Interesting, share with the kids.
Driving in the rain---this may save your life
GOOD VISION IN A DOWNPOUR

How to achieve good vision while driving during a heavy downpour.

We are not sure why it is so effective; just try this method when it rains heavily. This method was given me by a Police friend who
had experienced and confirmed it. It is useful....even driving at night. One method used by Canadian Military Drivers for years.

Most of the motorists would turn on HIGH or FASTEST SPEED of the wipers during heavy downpour, yet the visibility in front of
the windshield is still bad......

In the event you face such a situation, just try your SUN GLASSES (any model will do), and miracle! All of a sudden, your visibility
in front of your windshield is perfectly clear, as if there is no rain.

Make sure you always have a pair of SUN GLASSES in your car, as you are not only helping yourself to drive safely with good vision, but also might save your friend's life by giving him this idea..

Try it yourself and share it with your friends! Amazing, you still see the drops on the windshield, but not the sheet of rain falling.

You can see where the rain bounces off the road. It works to eliminate the "blindness" from passing semi's spraying you too.

Or the "kickup" if you are following a semi or car in the rain. They ought to teach that little tip in driver's training. It really does

work...

This next warning is a another good one! I wonder how many people know about this:

A 36 year old female had an accident several weeks ago and totaled her car. A resident of Kinburn , Ontario was traveling between Kinburn & Ottawa. It was raining, though not excessively, when her car suddenly began to hydro-plane and literally flew through

the air.. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence!

When she explained to the OPP Officer what had happened he told her something that every driver should know - NEVER DRIVE

IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON . She thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and
maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain. But the Officer told her that if the cruise control is on when your car begins to
hydro-plane and your tires lose contact with the pavement, your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed making you take off
like an airplane - She told the OPP Officer that was exactly what had occurred.

The Officer said this warning should be listed, on the driver's seat
Sun-visor - NEVER USE THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN
THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY
, along with the airbag warning. We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe

speed - but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the pavement is dry.

The only person the accident victim found, who knew this (besides the officer), was a man who had a similar accident, totaled his

car and sustained severe injuries.

NOTE: Some vehicles (like the Toyota Sienna Limited XLE) will not allow you to set the cruise control when the windshield wipers

are on. If you send this to 15 people and only one of them doesn't know about this, then it was all worth it. You might have saved a
