Wow, Big Brother's Back, already!  Yahoo!!  Yippee!  Summer Programming at it's best - lol!  And a good group of cast members, already - I love when they have all new people - I don't mind, sometimes, when they have some 'old characters', but, you know, it's like an opportunity to get to know a whole new pile o' friends, sooo,  really do like it when it's all brand new 'everybody' - lol!

We've got an interesting group - Jace, a skateboarder from Venice, California, so we know Venice Beach very well, spent a lot of time, there - so pretty... and a little crazy, soo, we'll see about Jace.  Da'Vonne (will have to go check the spelling!), from Inglewood - "Ingle-woooood!"  You gots'ta say it like that - haha!  Reminds me of my friends back home in California - and THE best cheesecake on the planet is in Inglewood... I have it on my main site... can't remember the name of the bakery, but is straight up Centinela (you can go off the 405), go past Ralphs at La Tijera, if you're coming up Centinela..., is around the corner from Smart and Final, a little strip mall - there's a BBQ place right beside it - but I always get the Pralines 'n Cream Cheesecake - is heaven.  Pure heaven.  I love it - a whole layer of soft toffee, right in the middle - yum!  Harriet's - that's what it's called - me remembered it in da middle o' da night, last night, of all the things - haha!  So, Harriet's in Inglewood, for the BEST cheesecake on the planet - oh, and bring cash : )

Anyway, Da'Vonne seems like a good girl, and she has a little baby to take care of - I like anyone who really needs the money - which brings me to Clay - did you see his family home in the background? lol!  sooo, maybe Clay doesn't need any money?  But, then, just because your parents have money, that doesn't necessarily mean the kids don't need it... it just seems less likely, and he played football for Texas A and E - is that what he said? lol!  I was looking somewhere else... anyway, Clay is super good-looking, so I feel like they'll keep good looking Clay around...

And good for Audrey for coming out on national TV, and say she is the first transgendered Big Brother player - good for her - that's fantastic.  We're seeing a lot of people finally feeling free to be whoever they really are, and that's a very good thing.

James won the first HOH competition - good for him!  He looks like a force to reckon with, right?  The other Big Brother house guests are already speculating that there might be more to James than meets the eye, and I think so, too... I love when someone doesn't 'match' what they might look like, outwardly... and so, I like the wrestler, Austin - there's a whole lot to Austin, so will be fun to see how long it takes for him to tell the other Big Brother house guests, or for people to figure that out.

And then there's Meg, a server from New York City, and Shelli... an Interior Design girl who likes to do a lot of DIY, so, I like that, since I love DIY, too... and Shelli is VERY interested in much younger Clay... soo, we might have a Showmance but Night 2 - bah'hahahahaha! I love a Showmance! lol!

Oh, and we're got three good Twists, already - the Twin Twist is my favourite - that'll be fun to watch, and the #BBTakeover - not sure what that is, sooo, is fun not knowing, either... and the Battle of the Block is back... that's okay - not all that exciting, but okay... the Twin Twist is the best twist, so far... so we're in for a fun summer!  Yahoo, Big Brother is Back, Baby!!

I love Grapefruit - I'm crazy about it, so I have about one Grapefruit, a day - usually at night, when I am more likely to want a nice little snack, usually while I'm watching The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, or Jimmy Kimmel Live .... or Seth Meyers... ot The Daily Show with Jon Stewart... I love a little humour, last thing at night (and all through the day - lol!).... but it does seem like that's my new habit, to settle in with a lovely, fresh, grapefruit, watch mah' shows! lol!  Oh, and I save Jimmy Fallon and Higgins for the next day, to watch with my son : )

Anyway, all those years, I've been either cutting my grapefruit in the old traditional way, the way I was carefully taught, in Grade 7 Home Ec - lol!  You know where you cut the grapefruit in half, then carefully cut around each segment?  Painstaking, tedious, annoying... and you only get some of the grapefruit, right?  

So then I started cutting the grapefruit in half, then into wedges, which was fine, 'n all that, but, then, TaaaDaaa!  I figured out an even BETTER way to cut my favourite midnight snack... 

Instead of starting in the middle of the grapefruit, as you naturally would, right?  You would start by cutting away the outside, then cut the grapefruit in strips, instead of in half - brilliant, right??  I am'a soo pleased wit' mah'self, for figuring this out - bah'hahahaha!  Well, yes, my life could use more meaning, what are you talking about?? hahaha!  Anyway, I do love to cut my grapefruit like this, now - soo much easier, less mess, and you get to eat the entire grapefruit, soo, of course I love that! lol!

Then you just cut each round in half, and I cut the little endy bits, too, so I don't waste any of the grapefruit... yum!  Looks so lovely, doesn't it?  Fresh and delicious, and really, really good for you!

Made Me Laugh

So here's something funny - made me laugh - I made the last 2 grapefruits, tonight, because I didn't want to waste them, right, and I always wish I had a few more pieces, every single time I have Grapefruit, late at night - grapefruit is one of my favourite late-night snacks, for some reason - good for me! lol!  anyway, so tonight I made the last two grapefruitzzz, and thought, oh, this is gonna be grrrreat...

Turns out, there's a reason I ever only have one single grapefruit...

So I couldn't eat all of the grapefruit - I said to my son, "Oh, no, I can't eat one more bite of grapefruit... I'm like a super-model, I just can't eat one more bite of this cotton ball..." bah'hahahahahaaha!  

Anyhoo, dat make'a me laugh!

The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Holds A Wake for Herself - for a Group Date? No. Where's Grumpy Cat to keep them straight? lol!

Bah'hahahahaha!  No more stooopid dates on the Bachelorette! lol!

What on Earth??  A Wake??  A Casket??  For real?? No.

Well, hmmm.  what is going on on the Bachelorette?  What a horrible group date - really, a casket? A Wake?  Are they crazy?  Poor Ben Z., I really felt for him.  These date ideas can't possibly be Kaitlyn's ideas, are they?  I'm sure they're production ideas, and crappy ones, at that.  

I really hated Ian, even more than last week - what a horrible creep - so arrogant - ugh.  Let's hope he just disappears into the netherworlds of post-'stardom' - he's had his few moments of fame, and he showed himself to be a horrible, humourless, insensitive person - yuck. I think anyone who actively canvases to be the next Bachelor or Bachelorette should automatically be disqualified, but particularly Ian, since he is just plain mean, and, yes, insensitive Ian, a sense of humour is critical to a good relationship, unless you are both a couple of humourless people... and then they can just have annoying, long, boring conversations, where he can lecture whoever he ends up with, on his endless list of deficiencies - the only good thing about Ian being on The Bachelorette, is to let women see this personality type, and then stay away, stay happy. 

So, all the stunning landscapes of Ireland, and they choose a Wake??  Silly. Stupid, is more accurate... lol!

And Shawn is losing it, totally, and no wonder.  And Shawn doesn't even KNOW about Kaitlyn and Nick - he's upset about Kaitlyn choosing Jared.... holy schmoly, like your actions shouldn't cause a reaction?  Come on, Kaitlyn, of course they will, but, then, Shawn makes the comment about the Fantasy Suites, and, as gross as that is, that is the reality of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, right?  Everyone cringes, but it always goes on... 

I don't know... is not lookin' good for Kaitlyn, because I still don't trust Nick.  Why doesn't Kaitlyn ask Nick about his relationship with Andi, since he saw her just 2 weeks before he finally decided to go on The Bachelorette?  Just ask, what happened?  Why didn't it work?  Didn't Nick go to great lengths to come between Andi and Josh?  Wow, I'm way too wrapped up in their love lives, that I remember all their names - hahahaha!  Ruh-ruh! And that's waaay too much PDA - and in the Church??  No.  And why does Kaitlyn have birds tattooed on her arms, if she is, indeed, afraid of birds - that makes no sense.

But Mistresses was great, wasn't it?  They did a great job of figuring out how to write Alyssa Milano out of the script, but leave it open for her to come back, so I really liked that, and I loved the new character - the one chasing down her husband, so SHE doesn't have to pay him half of ER money - I liked that - lol!  But, you're better off leaving and being happy, than holding onto the money.... is just really hard to do, for sures. 

Otay, 'til next week, unless Kaitlyn runs them all off, in between now and then - lol!  Hope your Love Life - and, more importantly, your whole life - is happy and fun! Ailsa : )
