Rice Krispie Squares - in the Microwave - sooo easy and fast! #Cereal #EasyRecipes #WickedGoodCupcakes

Rice Krispie Squares - in the Microwave - sooo easy and fast!

Omg, how much do you love Rice Krispie Squares? I love them soo much, they're so simple, so fast and easy to make, and I feel like they must be a little bit healthy, right?? hahaha!  Whatevs, they're deeelish..but they do have some vitamins and whatnot in the Rice Krispies, and the marshmallows are Fat Free, soo, I say, make lots of Rice Krispie Squares, enjoy them yourself and maybe even with your family and friends - lol!

So here's the fastie-schmastie way to make your favorite Rice Krispie Squares, in one bowl - couldn't beee any easier! lol!

Ingredients:

Rice Krispies - I think about 6 cups... I pour them in about 2 cups at a time, sooo, whatever will fit!

1 bag of mini-marshmallows...or any marshmallows! The mini-marshmallows are so cute, and good for little snacks : >

2 Teaspoons of Vanilla  (I pour it in, sooo, you can, too, if you like - lol!)

1/3 cup butter, cut in 2 bits...or margarine, I'm sure... I am a butter girl, but I use margarine on the pan : )

See how the butter is in the bottom of the big glass bowl? Then your marshmallows go right on top of that...pop right in the microwave for 2 minutes.

While the marshmallows are in the microwave, open the vanilla, get that ready to pour...

You'll love what the marshmallows do in the microwave - they'll triple in size, all puffed up : )  Is all very exciting, so if you have kids in the house, have them come and watch - it's a very cool process, plus, kids love to help in the kitchen - maybe they can stir in the Rice Krispies : )

Take the bowl out the microwave with your oven mitts on, for safey, and you'll notice the marshmallows fall right away - no worries, you're going to quickly pour in the vanilla, then stir with a wooden spoon. I would imagine you could use any spoon, but I have my favorite wooden spoon for baking - and you prolly will, too - lol!

This is also one of the main ingredients in my absolutely crazy-delicious cheesecake...is a great ingredient!

Pour your Rice Krispies right into the melted marshmallows... you've gotta get everything ready to go for this lovely wee treat, because it's soo fast to make them, so just go ahead and pour the Rice Krispies in and start stirring right away.  I usually pour in about 6 cups of Rice Krispies, but I'm pretty sure you could pour maybe another 2 cups of Rice Krispies in... is just a matter of making sure the marshmallow gets on all the Rice Krispies, so they'll stick together, no bother : )

Pull down any stray Rice Krispies from the side of the bowl, and gently mix it all together, especially toward the end...

Here's a little trick to help you press the Rice Krispies down in the pan... I'm sure you'll have given your hands a good clean before you started, right, so just run your hands under cold water, give them a good shake, so they're lightly 'watered', if you will (lol!), then quickly press down the Rice Krispies with your whole hands.  Alternatively, you could use the same plastic wrap that you used to 'butter' the pan at the beginning... if you use a big square of plastic wrap, and put the margarine of butter on with that... I just use my hands... : )

Pop the pan in the fridge, let them cool, then cut and put out on a nice plate - yum!!  Enjoy!!

Well, that seems a little hard to read, but suffice it to say that there are lots of health benefits to eating Rice Krispies, so this is the sort of treat you can feel good about : )

And here's the deal with the mini-marshmallows - they make a great little treat all on their own, and they'll make your Rice Krispie Squares all lovely and yummy!

Once you've made these once (how to use 'once' two or three times in one sentence - hahaha!), you'll get the hang of it so quickly, they'll become your new go-to treat - your waist and your kids will love them (and you!! lol!).

Happy Snacking!! Ailsa : )

Big Brother 16: Wow, Double Eviction, tonight - Jocasta AND Hayden are gone, but not forgotten.. they're in the Jury house - lucky! It's always so gorgeous!

Big Brother 16: Wow, Double Eviction, tonight - Jocasta AND Hayden are gone, but not forgotten.. they're in the Jury house - lucky! It's always so gorgeous!

Wow, what a night on Big Brother 16, eh??  Nicole was sure thrown for a lop - I don't think she saw that coming, but when you have a showmance on Big Brother, you're putting a target right on your back, right?  You're two votes in one, when you're in a showmance, and no individual playing the game wants to go up against that... sooo, Nicole is mad... think she will continue to go after Christine, instead of heading off by herself, until she can get her head back together... not a good game play...

So Caleb won the HOH - good for him, and good for the Detonators - Caleb wouldn't put up any of the Detonators, I think, but you never know...but Caleb does seem to be very loyal, and now that amber's gone, Caleb is playing a much better game - yahoo!  And he looks good with his head shaved - he looks like a gym guy - lol!

So Jocasta was the first to be evicted, tonight - I like it waaay better when a house guest is actually upset about being voted out - it's like not playing the game, at all, to be all lackadaisical about the whole thing... what the helll, have a reaction, right?  I get the whole 'oh, it's in God's hands', but pretty sure God wants you to take some responsibility for your actions, and some accountability, too... hmmm... but, now Jocasta and Hayden are both headed off to the Jury House, and you kow that's gonna be gorgeous...so will be fun for them - not as much fun as winning  a cool half million, though, eh?? lol!

I really like Hayden, and, who knows, maybe he'll be back in the Big Brother house - who knows what all Big Brother has up their twisted little sleeve! lol!

I was soo glad that Donny won the Veto competition, and pulled himself off the block - man, he really pulled it out, to win that competition - poor guy, he was so exhausted by the end of that competition.  I really want #TeamAmerica to be able to pull off another mission, make some more money for Donny, Frankie and Derrick... mo' money, mo' money, mo' money, right?? lol!

Okay, is it snack time, again??  haha!  I hope so!  Is it always snack time?? Whatevs, I work out really hard at the gym, I totally deserve a li'l snack... but I super gentle and kind to mah'self - will have the fancy snacks that appeal to me whether I hit up da gym, or not! hahaha!  Is all good - better to be happy, and healthy... well, I think I just felt obligated to add that last bit in, but, really, it's better to be happy : >

Ooh, and that reminds me, gotta go make some more Rice Krispie Squares - yum!! Surely there's something healthy in the middle of a Rice Krispie Square, right?  I'm sure there is! lol! ; )

So go be super-happy!  See you Sunday!  Ailsa : )

Big Brother 16: Well, is Zach the Fruitloop Dingus, yet? Or will he be, tomorrow? lol!

Big Brother 16:  Well, is Zach the Fruitloop Dingus, yet? Or will he be, tomorrow? lol!

Oh, no - Zach, what were you thinking, bad-mouthing Christine so much that now she wants you out, and now even the Detonators may or may not have Zach's back... ruh-ruh!  All that pretending to bite like an alligator - it's'a gonna bite you in da back, Zach!  That was super-sad and disturbing to hear how Zach talked to himself, when he couldn't figure out the Veto competition in a short time... that's not good, poor kid. Maybe a little therapy when he's all done with Big Brother, which might be tomorrow, unless the house guests actually vote for Jocasta...

So how is it that Jocasta is so safe?  She hasn't won anything, is not a good competitor, doesn't appear to be in any alliance, that we know of, but she is playing a good social game - although, I think I'd be pretty fed up with the over-the-top religious stuff... maybe that's not so 'out-there' in the Big Brother house?  And I'm a super-religious girl, but still, there's a limit to what I might say out loud, and that goes beyond my comfort zone... but, all said, whatever Jocasta is doing, it's totally working for her - but I guess we'll know, for sure, tomorrow night, right? lol!

Pretty shocking that Nicole had such a Big Plan to  backdoor Frankie... so glad she didn't get to go through with putting Frankie on the block - Frankie is my favorite, for sures...and I still really like Derrick, Cody, Donny - hmmm, do I mostly just like the men in the house?  Dat not good, right?  I did really like Christine, but I think she's shot herself in the foot, trying to put a wedge between Nicole and Hayden, even if there is a little truth, there... Hayden does seem to have a little interest in Victoria...

And Adam and Eve, aka Caleb and Victoria - soo funny in their Adam and Eve costumes - what did Caleb say about Moses in the Bible?? hahahaha!  Go a li'l further back, ol' Caleb - lol!  Funny - I thought, for sures, Caleb and Victoria would develop a little relationship, when they're that close together, right, but, nope. A'nuffin'... Caleb couldn't wait to get away from Victoria... man, why can't Victoria establish some true friendships in the Big Brother house?  Poor kid, she seems to be on the outskirts of everyone, you know?  I hope she has lots of great friends, outside the Big Brother house, in her real life : )

I did looove the Comic Book Covers - fantastic! Loved them all - someone's a great artist on the Big Brother scene! lol!  I loved the Donny cover - hilarious!

Okay, 'til tomorrow night!  Go haz some fun! Ailsa : )
