The Bachelorette - Kaitlyn and Nick the Yick?? Yuck!! Say It Ain't So!

Happier Days...

Omg, what is happening on the Bachelorette??  Kaitlyn lets Nick the Dick come back??  Gross.  He's such a yuck - I think, when everyone has the same reaction to someone, there has to be something to it, right?  Isn't your gut reaction to Nick that he's creepy, not to be trusted?  And is he just going for another clone of Andi??  Gross.  Yick.  Nick the Yick,

I was gonna put some pics up of gross Nick, but you know what?  I just couldn't bring myself to put that yuck's picture on my lovely little blog - I just can't sully my blog, like that - that's a pretty big reaction to one person, right?  Nick is gross.

And what was that whole thing, Kaitlyn says she has only had some texts and a few calls with Nick, then they come together so quickly, with an undeniable amount of passion - it's so obvious, it's palpable.  And I get how Kaitlyn says, she wants to make this real, and if Nick IS a real possibility, then he should be a part of the program, however, clearly Kaitlyn had a relationship (sure looks physical to me, right?  Hmmm...) with Nick prior to the show - so, it begs the question of whether it was fair to take the title of Bachelorette over Britt, who was very open to meeting a man, having a real relationship... or was it yet another case of wishy washy Nick just seeing what else he can get, how he can screw up another woman's life?  No doubt, he interfered in Andi and Josh's relationship - didn't he stalk Andi?  I seem to recall something like that... but one way or another, Nick is so creepy... I don't know what it would take for me to change my mind on that one...

So when Kaitlyn goes into the men on the group date, and she wants to talk about Nick, with lots of apologies for yet another group date or event of any kind, jam packed full of tension and drama, all of the men are having a visceral reaction, as they should - that's their intuition speaking loud and clear - get out, get out, now.  Don't waste one more minute.  I thought it was pretty funny that they happened to be on a boat when Kaitlyn told them the news that Nick was going to join them - I was sure someone was gonna say they could all jump ship.... that wouldda been a great line, right? lol! But you could see it on their faces - I'm amazed that they didn't all just walk off, right there.  Maybe they're looking forward to a free trip around the world?  I say, go for it - why not, eh?  But I lost a lot of respect for Kaitlyn, tonight - I hate when someone wastes someone else's time.

The funny thing is, everyone gets these feelings - you either have very strong feelings that you need to get out of a relationship, or you have a series of little niggling things, stuff that happens, or how the other person makes you feel (not good), that makes you feel like you need to remove yourself, asap. You know, if more people could follow their guts on stuff like this, there would be a lot more people with happier lives... but also a lot fewer relationships, since, really, these feelings can be soo frequent, maybe there would be a major drop in the Birth Rate, too - bah'hahahaha!  Nooo, I'm sure there are good relationships out there...

It is interesting to me that Britt has magically made Brady (I think that's what Britt said his name was), her 'boyfriend'... think of how many people you might come in contact with, any given day, week, month, year, and how many would you actually feel an intense attraction to, AND still want to spend some time with them?  Is that just me?  Iz me too much of a cynic, now? hahaha!  Sooooowwwyy!!  I do think that there are different times in your life when you might be waaay more open to making a relationship work, and I think that's where Britt is, at this stage of her life.  I do hope they really are nice and happy, and have a really nice relationship : )

Okay, 'til next week.... so silly... and how come Kaitlyn feels the need to remove the men personally, not waiting for the Rose Ceremony?  Why make such a big deal of it?  And was Nick brought on by the Producers, or was it a Production decision for Nick to arrive 4 weeks in - or just Nick screwing with more people??  Yuck!

Let's hope you're having a GREAT relationship, or well on your way to a great relationship!  To Love! (Do we need a drink after this crazy episode?? lol!)  Ailsa : )

Budding Romance on The Bachelorette, but Can Kaitlyn get in on that Love action, too? lol! #TheBachelorette

Oh, man, what a ride in Bacheloretteland, tonight - I hope Kaitlyn can find a good man who would really like to be with her, and not just be there to pursue his own thing...or another one of the men... but Kaitlyn does have lots of great choices, left over from some of the crazies who have left, already.

I like Ben Z. (Benzie? lol!) and Shawn (B?)... they both seem like really good guys, and seem to be into Kaitlynn, the way she appears to be into them.. but what's with the attraction to Jared?  The one who immediately told Kaitlyn he was really there for Britt, right? lol!  So silly.  All these games, right?  Yick.

I was so glad to see that Kaitlyn got rid of Mr. Fighty - what a jerk.  Ladies (and men, since women can be like this, too), watch out for a man who wants to fight with you - I know that's a whole thing in Romance Novels, the couple who are constantly fighting, everything's an argument, leading up to a great romance - uh, nope.  That leads up to a whole lot more fighting, and is abusive, sooo, see it as the Red Flag that it is, and do like Kaitlyn, and cut them loose, asap - your life will thank you for it - better to be alone than to be with a Crazy, believe  me.

True Love?

Is this the real romance going on in the Bachelorette House? lol!  Vince and JJ are really, really enjoying each other's company, but why not just head out, together, instead of taking up 2 valuable spaces in the Bachelorette house, right?

See how cute Shawn is?  And the perfect choice of dog, too??  lol!  Shawn seems like Kindness Personified, right? Shawn would make very good husband material, and hopefully will be one of Kaitlyn's top choices. : )

I was so happy to see Tony remove his own self from the Bachelorette process - he was right about the whole thing being far too aggressive, and how do you really get to know someone in that sort of environment (oh, and I hated the stooopid locked box thing - what the hell??  I had to fast forward through that - really, I've had to fast forward through a fair bit of The Bachelorette, so far... too many aggressive and scary crap - booo!  Where's the romance, Bachelorette producers??).

Anyway, Tony was, for sures, right about what he was saying, but didn't Tony seem waaay too old for Kaitlyn, and far too serious?  The irony was, I love all the same ideas that Tony spouted, just not the way he went about sharing those ideas. And you can be 'One with the Universe', AND be funny and fun to be with, right?  Doesn't the Universe want you to have all sorts of fun, and lots of laughs? lol!

And speaking of what the Universe has in store for you, I love that bit with Bill Nye, the Science Guy, on Amy Schumer's show, Inside Amy Schumer... very funny - lol!  But I am thrilled at the mere prospect of Amy Schumer being the next Bachelorette - I would looove that!  Omg, we would laugh our way right through the whole Bachelorette vetting of the men - hahahaha!  Vetting - what a great word for choosing the right mate (or, mate for right now... whichever the Universe would like to see you with, first - bah'hahahaha!).  So if there's a chance Amy Schumer would agree to be the next Bachelorette, I would love that!

Well, you know I love chocolate, and I'm guessing you might love chocolate, too - I love really good chocolate - yum!  Treat yourself, I says! Enjoy your life, right?? Right! Go get you Lots of Love!! (And chocolate! lol!)  Ailsa : )

#Getty Free Class Trips to The Getty Villa and The Getty Center - So Great for Everyone! #Teachers #Students #HuntingtonGardens #Gardens #ClassTrips

The Getty Villa in Malibu (Pacific Palisades), California - soo gorgeous, a great place to go, yourself, or with your family and friends : )

And if you happen to be a teacher, June 1st is the starting date to pop into the Getty Villa website to book a trip for your classhttp://www.getty.edu/education/teachers/trippack/index.html

I think there is a special category for Title I schools, too, so be sure to pop into the Getty site, see what you can get for your students - all sorts of lesson plan ideas, too, and there should be some good printables, too - I know I've gotten great teaching materials, right at the Getty Villa, in the Children's center - it's for 'children' of all ages! The young at heart crowd, if you know what I mean - lol! : )

The Getty Website has all sorts of Teacher stuff - you'll love it!

This is an incredible opportunity for your students, and one that may change their lives, forever.  The Getty Villa is so beautiful, and even just taking the bus, there - what a great class trip for you and your students.

There's a place for your students to have their lunch, and you can buy lunch, there, too - is a good idea to just bring their lunch, if possible.  Many schools will let you order school lunches through your school cafeteria manager - good to be friends with the school cafeteria manager, anyway - they're always really nice and helpful : )

For teachers, be sure to check and see what courses are offered for the summer, at The Getty Villa in Malibu (Pacific Palisades), and at The Getty Center, off the 405 in Los Angeles, California.  I've taken so many amazing courses, all free, I think - pretty sure - I took a lot of classes, sooo, a little jumbled in my mind, now, which ones I paid for, and which ones were free, but I'm pretty sure the Getty courses are all free.

Oooh, check and see what other courses there are at all the Art Galleries... LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) had amazing courses, and be sure to stay for the dinners that are provided, free of charge - they had THE best dessert - yum!

You'll come away with lots of great ideas for future lessons, and maybe meet some nice people.. and learn all sorts of interesting and amazing new things, yourself - you'll love it!  Oh, and the Getty Center off the 405 had fantastic breakfasts, too - and I think they were free, as well... wow, can it get any better than that?  Great classes, possibly a Free Trip for your students, and free breakfasts for you, at the courses?  Hope I'm not spilling the beans, here - lol!

The earlier you put in your request for a school trip, the better the odds are of getting to go to the Getty Villa or the Getty Center, or, possibly, both.  It's all worth a shot, for sure!

Best Class Trip, ever? Or did they have a bit of a ruff trip? haha! So cute!

Oh, and the Getty Villa and the Getty Center are amazing trips for anyone, any time.  Generally, you have to go online to book a ticket for the Getty Villa, just so they know you're coming, and you will have a variety of times to choose from, and I think admission is free, just pay for parking.

I know I've taken some courses at the Getty Center, where they handed out free parking passes, too - so, be open to all the freebies, for sures, and if you're at either the Getty Villa in Malibu, or the Getty Center off the 405 in L.A., and you have children with you, pop into the children's center - soo much fun - the kids will love it, too - bah'hahaha!

And if you want to take your students (or just go on your own!) to Huntington Gardens, which is beyond gorgeous, Huntington Gardens has a Free Day, and I'm pretty sure there's no fee for parking... the first Thursday of the month should be the Free Day, but check online, I think that's the only way to get your tickets, and you have to book in advance - plan well in advance, so you'll get your tickets - and if you're a teacher, you can see if there are any sources who might provide a free bus - worth looking into, for sure, and an incredible opportunity for your students

Happy Travels!  Ailsa
